such as creating square circles, is it also logically impossible for him to make an elephant become a laptop?

Are these two feats different? How so?

The only difference is that the first example blatantly goes against the laws of mathematics and even idiots can detect it.

But the second example, technically, requires knowledge of greater physics. Most people, lacking this knowledge, believe it to be credible and "miraculous."
I love how your question is so thought out, the fundies don't have readymade propaganda. Don't worry they are just checking their propaganda organisations for an appropriate response to regurgitate.

He could turn a square into a circle...but a square circle doesn't make sense....just like an elephant cannot be a laptop at the same time. For the most part, God can do anything, as long as the request itself makes sense.

This is an essential principle of logic. If we can't digest this, will we never get to the point of being able to discuss spiritual things. As Jesus said, "I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?"

square and circle are just ideas, there's a contradiction. However, God can take the molecules of an elephant and rearrange them into a laptop. God is reasonable and will never contradict himself. The scriptures repeatedly affirm this, "Come let us reason together says the Lord. Though your sins be scarlet, I will make you white as snow."...."Offer your bodies as living sacrifice which is your reasonable service."

Nothing is impossible for God.

Yes, they're different. One involves shapes, the other changing a living thing to a object.

I've never thought of God as logical. God is above logic and reason. He sets all absolutes. A saying that you will understand is - "It is God's way or the highway." There is no other way. Maybe so you will thoroughly understand I will say, "It is God's way or the hellway."
