You ask a simple question, and I will give a simple answer. Take what you eat, now. Cut your portion in half, for each thing you normally eat. Drink lots of water, and walk around the block a few times, daily. You might be surprised at the results!

Sounds like the rest of these people have it. I'll sum up what they are telling you, and add my own:

-Eat smaller portions every 3 hours or so.
-Eat 5-6 times a day. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two or three small snacks, like a bag of carrots, a fat free yogurt, or even some beef jerky.
-Never skip breakfast.
-No more heavily processed food. (candies, chips, white bread, blah blah)
-Stick to whole wheat, or whole grain everything, even spaghetti noodles.
-No more fast food.
-Carry a water bottle everywhere, no more soda.
-Eat fresh fruit and vegetables to maintain proper vitamin intake and fiber.
-Walk 30 mins everyday, maybe an hour ever so often if your up to it, and throw in a light jog every now and then.
-Pay attention to your calorie and fat intake, which should be cut dramatically now that you won't be eating heavily processed food. And walking and jogging frequently should burn more calories than you take in... which is the ultimate goal cuz this is what will burn fat calories.

And *NOTE:

-Eat low fat cottage cheese with fruit : ) Its great at snack time.
-Half a sandwich and small bowl of soup is a great lunch with juice or water.
-Special K with berries (its listed serving portion) and a banana is a great breakfast.
-Spaghetti with whole wheat noodles and a chicken breast is a great dinner with a diet soda.
-This diet is recommended because your stomach will always be digesting easy and light food which will raise your resting heart rate as well as your metabolism, you'll sleep better, wake up easier, and you body will love you. If you have a *significant other* your "libido" will be healthy ;)...

I have 100% faith that you will lose more than you need and you'll bring sexy back! 1.5 -2 pounds a week is very easy if you follow good and healthy rules.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)
