very odd tho you must remember many countries have had a shaded past many muslim nations are just less evolved think of whats been done in the name of christianity before you look down on what are often third world nations

First of all, it is NOT common practice for muslims to marry their immediate family, in fact it is not allowed to marry a sibling or another that has breastfed from the same woman. However it is common practice for muslims to marry their first cousins, as in most developing nations and arab nations. There is nothing really wrong with marrying your first cousin and it only became a horrible thing when the Hapsburg empire collapsed in Austria due to so much inter family marriage and a rare blood disease that got worse when they mixed it therefore eventually all dying.
And as for male siblings stabbing the 'offending daughter', I believe that is one sick man, no matter the culture or religion.

My friend is muslim, the family tend to choose someone they think is suitable, this could be a cousin, or non blood related family member, then they know the person is good, honest, they know the family background etc, and not all daughters are stabbed! If the family think the daughter has let them down, or caused them trouble things can get nasty but each family handles things differently as any other non muslim family would.

probable all however the Muslim... those issues are no longer freely reported in our family members, as no person choose for to get into such concerns and possibility hurting someones thoughts or beginning a debate. The exception right here, is in my husbands family members, the place they're passionate Christians and don't have a brilliant form of tolerance for different perspectives. they're authentic and that's that. era. Your first link was not because she would not marry but because she wanted to convert to Christianity. This is horrific and not part of the Islamic faith. "let there be no compulsion in religion" that is what the Quran teaches if others who come from a Pakistani culture kill in this way it is a cultural thing not an Islamic thing. The same happens to Hindu girls if you do the research.

Where do you get this nonsense from. My daughter who is british married a muslim from North Africa. My oldest grandson is a muslim and he is marrying a girl from a different family who live 200 miles away. My grandaughter who is Muslim , married a Scotsman. So don't talk a load of crap.
