I have been dieting and working out for several weeks to get my body bikini ready for the last weekend of April. Now that there's two more weeks left, I really want tone my body and possibly lose 5 more pounds. Do you have any dieting/exercising tips?

you have to count time doing cardio not calories burned.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

I would go 45 minutes on the elliptical. It will really help! Just make sure you eat well, and possibly increase the level on it. Then, those 5 pounds should come of easily and you will have a toned body!

Hello! Its hard to say which is more effective, because it depends on the resistance level of the elliptical, and the incline and speed of the treadmill if you're using one. Which one challenges you more? Have you tried both workouts? Which one do you feel gives you the better workout? Listen to your body, and let your body answer this question for you. Have you made changes in your routine? Try working out on different days, or at different times of day. If you weight train, instead of starting with legs, end with them. The slightest changes make a big difference. I hope this helps you.
