This was a very thought out and well said statement and I agree with it whole heartedly. It has been an eye opener on Yahoo Answers as to how much hate there truly seems to be out there when people can hide behind anonimity.

Evil is alive and well in the world. If we could only all agree that peace is a better way to live.

Gun's aren't the problem, humans are. People were being murdered and killed well before guns were invented.
These things are terrible and don't make sense. The reason for this is the people who typically do them are crazy and don't make sense. The next few weeks will be filled with people trying to find answers as to 'why' this happened. The truth is that it happened because some people are crazy and will always find a way to damage others.
It is heartbreaking, but true.

Amen. It is quite frightening to think that it could happen to any one of us. I was driving up to campus at the U when I heard about it, but at that time they were only reporting 1 dead. Even then it was still a bit unsettling to know that I was heading to a campus where the same thing could happen. I also drive past Trolley Square every day on my way to work. I can't even imagine what went on in there.

it incredibly is human nature. As individuals, we understand the Virginia Tech sufferers as no longer in ordinary terms individuals of the extra advantageous human race, yet individuals of our very own in-group. this is why information thoughts that are "on the component of domicile" get extra press than people who ensue in different countries. apart from, it surpassed off on a college campus, which we tend to perceive as risk-free and serene. A bloody dying in a conflict-torn united states like Iraq is something that would not marvel us plenty, yet while it happens at a college, it incredibly is front website information. EDIT: i think of the asker's determine of "extra advantageous than 30 killed every day" refers no longer in ordinary terms to U.S. troops, yet to Iraqi civilians, cops and squaddies as nicely. jointly, they upload as much as extra advantageous than 30.

Nice sentiment - too bad it will never happen. And, you can thank 200+ different flavors of religion in America alone for that...
Dump religion, and you dump the reasons why people are killing each other over Gods.
