They were used as a fund raiser in Jr/Sr. High in the 80's and 90's. They came in almond, crunch and carmel (which is what I am looking for). The carmel came in a white pacakage. This was in Michigan. Not sure if other states had it or not.

Omg I'm from Michigan too and I know exactly what you're talking about! I sold those in grade school and in high school for fund raisers, they were something like $1.00 per bar and came in 3 or 4 flavors. The caramel was by far the yummiest. It's World's Finest brand chocolate bars. I visited their website, and you can purchase the milk chocolate, milk chocolate with almond, and crisped rice bars online, but I don't see anywhere to order the caramel ones! Maybe you can email them and find out more info! www.worldsfinestchocolate.com Good luck!!!

I have a recipe I make for my kids. Peanut Butter Graham Bars INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 cups margarine, melted 2 cups peanut butter 4 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup margarine 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips DIRECTIONS Grease a 10x15 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups melted margarine, peanut butter, confectioners' sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Spread in prepared pan. Combine 1/2 cup margarine and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth. Spread over peanut butter mixture. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

I remember those! I went to school in Michigan too. I don't know the name of them, but why not call the school you went to and ask the secretary if she/he knows the name. It's possible they are still selling them. And if so, send me a caramel.
