paying 2007 estimated taxes?

Could I mail my estimated 2007 payments for federal and state postmarked by April 17 to be consider on time? Or does the fund actually need to be transmitted to them for me not to pay a penalty?

The postmark date applied by the Post Office (but not a private postage meter) determines the filing and payment date.

deliver the 4th quarter voucher, with one examine for the entire quantity. in case you deliver the different quarters now, late, you will pay a penalty. in case you in simple terms deliver all of it as 4th quarter, you will in all probability slide below the radar
