Etymologicall God in the good old epithets of Deus, Dios, stemming from a primeval indo-european word, is a "raging, roaring, merciless, ever mysterious Beast".

God, Zeus, Yehovah, Yahveh, Jovis, Janus, Orus, El, Allah, Odin, Thor, etc. etc. may always mysteriously be about the same thundering raging Spirit, an Underdog you better take care "not to name in vain". His deadly thundering/lightning might strike you prematurely thus depriving the World of an imprudent impudent creature who does not show humility enough in the sense of not unquestionably accepting the "mystery" and dogma of (blind) Faith.

Almighty God created everything and anything out there, here, above and beyond and yonder, all possible and impossible and imaginable and unimaginable creatures and things inclusive the Devil.

Besides Jesus, the Devil is God's most favorite creature, His most beloved son, and God has delegated unto him the total administration of the eternal Empire of Evil.

The Devil, utmost nasty ever grinning Satan of scorching Hell's fire, was and is a blunt necessary Power created by God in His own ressemblance so that we may mercilessly firmly be punished for committing all venial or most beastly sins that our schizophrenic brain ever leads us unto bluntly committing.

Good luck unto you!

If I ask whether a fridge is cool or hot, what would be the answer? The external compressor part of the fridge is hot and the inside of the fridge is cool. But as a whole it works in such an overall balance that it serves our purposes at our satisfactions. Even if we don’t like the heat of the compressor part, it is inevitably necessary to make the inside of the fridge cool.

God and his activities are like that; something unwanted (bad!) to us is necessary to make other something good and wanted to us. If we judge single events of the nature/ God, we may find many things that we don’t like or may not be justifiable to us. But if we consider the chain of effects of the single events, we may observe that everything happen in such a way that make a balanced positive effect in the existence of the nature. So, roughly, we can conclude that God is good.

We have no reason to say that God is bad when we believe that He is the supreme power of the universe and knows everything better than us. But if we don’t believe so, then we can argue among us about God but we have no scope to argue with God regarding His activities. So..........

The god character represents humans. It can be good and bad at times. There is a devil so people can have something to blame bad stuff on. Otherwise, they'd have to say their ever loving god is responsible for bad things.

The Devil was actually an angel. He was the most beautiful angel and he was in charge of directing the music choir in heaven to glorify God. But he became jealous and wanted to become like Him, so God cast him down. When he was an angel, his name wa Lucifer. Also, God is perfect. All He wants is to have a closer relationship with you. His Son paid the price, all you have to do is accept the round trip ticket to heaven. He loves you. I'll be praying for you.

We are created in His image only He is Perfect in all His qualities, love and justice for example. Love for all of us, but justice in that He will not permit evil to continue to ruin the earth which would mean death for some.

The Devil created himself. He was an angel with free moral choice who got puffed up with pride. He decided why should humans worship God when they could worship him? That is why he started the first lie and been at it ever since. He is especially mad after he was flushed out of heaven to the earth knowing his time was shortened by the other perfect qualities of God. When He has a purpose, it gets done.

"To know the greatest good is to know the greatest evil".....unknown

The Apostle Paul said "Even though I try to do right evil is ever so present" Evil is the opposite of good. God did not create evil, but evil derived from the flip side of good. It is what is contrary to God. Lucifer, the most prettiest of all angels, he was the prince of the air and music which travels through sound and air. He wanted to be like God! He was upset because of it and he was envious of God, this lead to a war in heavens and Lucifer/ now Satan was casted out (him and his traitor passie!) *he is very envious of man and hates God and tries to hurt God though what he loves the most...mankind! Now we have to fight for either our flesh which is evil because it wants to feed and feel pleasure and not the spiritual things of God. We must understand that it is a test of our faith and love of God. Just like God allowed Job to go through in which we must not fail Him! This is very hard for man this is why God sent Jesus to help us and see why we could not get it right. He made an escape route. Its not about you are me, but about the forever King of Kings and the great mission that was intended before the fall of man. We are at War!

it depends when it comes to science the idea of god can hold us back devine morals in which we are supposed to follow prohibit us from certain scientific research such as stem cells but thes same morals are used to help people better themselves such as the twelve step program for drug rehibilitation and all that its depends on what you mean tho if you mean whether gods good or evil god represents all that is good he is above all human desires and greater than human emotion he is everything which would make us ask how we could sin against or oppose such a perfect devine being he is everything we cant be. the devil however is the embodiment of all the emotions and desires we consider to be evil

Neither exist, that being said.

If God has the ability to stop evil, but chooses not to, doesn't that amount to creating evil. If a human has the ability to save a life, but chooses not to in order to see what would happen, wouldn't that make them evil?

God does this all the time, Christians call it free will, but the consequenses of God's inaction lead to everlasting pain, suffering and torture. This is clearly much worse than watching someone die once and not doing anything about it. It is obviously much worse than a woman, without an understanding of good or evil, eating a forbidden apple 6000 years ago, but Christians don't see it that way.
