I'm so sick of hearing these things explained away as god's will or god's plan.
What twisted god planned this?!

Just more evidence for the non-existence of a god.

I don't think that God's plan is the reason behind everything but I do believe that faith helps us and softens the blows when they happen. The world of people is not more significant than the world or the universe as a whole, even though the horrible accidents like this hurt us so much. People die everywhere, every day. Many are so young they never knew life, or so underpriviledged they never knew comfort. We plot, kill and hurt each other, kill and poison animals, destroy trees and everything around us, sometimes on purpose and sometimes by mistake. The same thing happens to us. It's how we handle the world that creates our reality, and not God's plan.

Our Father is a God of the living not the dead.
No one has perished yet not even Satan.
People think this flesh life is all there is.
When this flesh life is a nothing compared to eternity.
The second death or lake of fire is non-existence.

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

2Co 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

God gave each of us free will. It was the gunman that used his own free will to shoot these people. Instead of being hateful show some kindness to another and change their day for the better. If we all did this there wouldn't be a need for people to shoot others. It's called free will and you chose the plan like it or not, your body is proof of that. Gods plan was... Men are that they might have joy. Us humans are screwing that up. Peace be unto you as only Jesus can give.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Yes if this was your plan you would be a sick and twisted God and no-one who knew you would want to serve you. But I thankyou that you don't even come close to anything that has a touch of awful in it.
You are so Good and Kind and Loving and this no doubt hurts and angers you the most.
I pray for Razorhead that You would comfort him in his confusion and hurt and grief and let him know deep down how Righteous and Caring you truely are.
Comfot him through this Lord please, and
Let not the enemy take his precious life too.
Thankyou Heavenly Father,
in the Precious Name of your Son Jesus, who was killed too,
Amen

All I know is: that was not God's plan; AND that He made a 'law' for Himself that He would not interfere with boys' and girls' (men and women's) free will. If someone had the money and desire to go and do a psychological autopsy of the killer and the murdered....they would find that the killer left lots of signs (spoor) that this was going to happen...That is God's hand in the deal..the "compulsion to confess"; but, He won't strike the 'mark of cain' piece of dogs@*t down; as I would. If He did that, that's all He would be doing; which would nullify free will and make him a cosmic policeman.

Shame on the killer/s...at the judgment seat he will be consigned to everlasting shame and contempt !!! And, we left behind...have to suck it up, try to make sense of nonsense and go on....

Anyone who knows God also knows God's plan does not include murder. What God does is use the horrors of this world to do something good. What He will do with this? I have no idea, but to blame God for the act of man would be like blaming children for abusive parents. It's backwards.

I'm sure you'll have people tell you that it wasn't gods will that did this, it was the gun mans use of his free will that did this.
I'm pretty sick of it too. It's really sad that there are all these school shooting and someone always has to say, it's all part of gods plan, or, god works in mysterious ways. Nope, it's because someone needed professional help any didn't get any.

That is not definitely our God's plan. It is more like people do not stick with God's plan with the choices they make with their free will.

Or..Is it more like that they were not fit enough to survive???

PS: And Christians never claim that everything happens as God plans. Free will makes things very interesting. You are trying to make everything God's fault, when you do not even believe in Him. What's up with that??

God's will or plan was for us to be perfect. We blew that didn't we. Now because of that we are subject to the pain, misery and heartache that was introduced because of sin. It never says in the bible that it is God's will for us to suffer. What it does say is that He will work for good in those who seek His will. mark my words, today faith was strengthened and God is being demonstrated to those students who are, no doubt, feeling the brunt of the sinful world right now.

Prayers go out for the families of the dead students and for the hurt and suffering.

Christ said in John 10:10:
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I Have Come That They May Have Life, And That They May Have It More Abundantly."

Mark 10:45-
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

He laid down His life as a ransom for men to save them from death - (Mark 10:45; John 10:11)
When the Father's will is done and his order is in place, every person and every thing attains, or is attaining, the potential he, she, has for development and happiness.

"The Theif Does Not Come Except To Steal, And To Kill, And To Destroy"

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16
