Look if your dogs are healthy and happy with what your doing then just do it. Why are you listening to what other have to say. Really just ignor them and keep your dogs happy.

I guess I'd skip the tinned, and go with raw if they'll eat that.

Probably a little cheaper in the long run, you know what they are getting, and its healthier.

Are you evil for feeding them tinned, nah, I've seen much worse.

Kris, there have been very few recalls on dry food. The recent massive recall, involved 98% CANNED food. The other 2% went to a couple dry foods, and some treats.

Considering all of the recent 'recalls' on DRY DOG FOOD I think that you are 'very wise' to be feeding your dogs a 'combination' of 'tinned' food and 'raw meat' ... but I wish you would 'cook the meat' and add some 'vegies' (green beans, corn, peas, and carrots) to it to make sure your 'babies' are getting 'all the food they need to thrive' ... and to be sure they don't get 'salmonella' or other bacterial infections from the raw meat. Some people 'radically believe' they 'know' what is best for 'all dogs' to eat ... but these are YOUR DOGS (or cats) and you can feed them WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST as long as they are getting 'all that they need' from their food ... if they aren't they'll LET YOU KNOW by 'chewing' on inappropriate things ... and you need to 'cook' those bones, too, for the same reason ... but THAT is the ONLY THING that you need to do 'different' ... and if your dogs are 'happy' and 'healthy' then you can just tell the people who want to 'order' you to do otherwise to 'forget it' because they are YOUR PETS and you will treat them the way YOU think is BEST ...

I agree with GoldenGal, as long as your dogs are happy and healthy then don't worry about what other people say. Alot of people tell me I shouldnt feed my dogs a mix of dry and wet food. I still do cause thats the only way I can make my dogs eat their dry food, plus they love it! If their teeth get gross then I'll just take them to get them cleaned. I know my dogs are happy and healthy and love meal time.

Don't worry about it :]

You decide to combine raw with canned, really no different than combined raw with kibble, it does not make any difference for the teeth since they just hoover up kibble anyway
The main thing is they are healthy, not what other people think

There is nothing wrong with canned food. In fact, there is usually less fat which is a good thing.
