WHOA!! Slow down sister!! I am a Christian too, but the Muslims believe in Allah, not God. The only thing the same is that both Christians and Muslims only believe in one God instead of several. Don't mean to get on your case, just clearing that up. If you have any other questions on the subject e-mail me.

I agree with you. However not all believe that the Bible is the revelation of the One True God.
Many choose another god because he doesn't place the demands on their life that the god of the Bible does.
Most people create their own god - after their image (or imagination) and likeness.
They pretend god is what they think he is so they can do as they please without concern for the consequences.
Also, most Jews do not accept the revelation of God in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Others have a Jesus of their own making, and not the one revealed in the Scripture as the incarnate God come down from heaven.
The truth is, the only One who knows God is God, and the only way we can know Him is by receiving His Holy Spirit, and the only way the Holy Spirit comes is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, come down from heaven, crucified for sinners, and risen from the dead.

Yes, they all believe in one God, but not all believe in Jesus Christ as being God the Son, part of the trinity. I think that is what people mean when they say Christian God.

The contradictions and hate preached by using religious institutions brought about me great discomfort and psychological turmoil to the element the place i chanced on peace by using leaving the church completely and thinking long and not straight forward approximately my actuality. i'm now an atheist and issues are lots much less puzzling and painful. the international extremely is clever for as quickly as. to those that are extremely clever and have serious thinking skills, faith is a neurotoxic poison that refutes actuality and seeks convenience in fantasy. it is absurd and particularly frankly, insane. human beings like Cora are brainwashed into thinking in the event that they don't have faith what they're instructed, they are going to burn interior the fires of hell. it isn't any diverse than Nazi recommendations administration. frightening stuff.

It's an uncomplicated thing. When people say 'the Cjhristian God' they re eliminating all the other Gods that some people refer to. As opposed to Allah of the Muslims, the strictly Jewish God, etc.
So give us a break. ( ;

Sweety, We (as pagans) knew all of this. The reason that we make the distinction is not because we don't know. However, we don't believe that it is the only one that exists. We believe that there are many other gods. We make the distinction because we don't want to confuse them. For instance, my sisters and I believe in the celtic gods, so if we were to talk about them, we would distinguish them in that way.

All of the religions have a very different few of their god. Christians like to say it's all one in the same because it works into their notion that they are the one true religion. If you say they are all the same, then why not just say you're a Muslim?
You should read the various texts and study the differences before you speak.

Sure whatever you say.
We'll just call it the Judeo-Christ-lamic god.
Oh and don't try to put Einstein on your bandwagon. Einstein was not a Christian. He said if he were to believe in any god it would be Spinoza's god (God is nature).

People refer to it as the Christian god because **NEWSFLASH** not everyone has the same belief as you do about God. You may say there is only 1 God and he exists as you know it, but the rest of the world is not obliged to concur. As such, the rest of the world carries on dialog without your approval.
