That depends upon your filing status, age, and whether or not you can be claimed as a dependent on another taxpayer's return.

For a single taxpayer under age 65 and not being claimed as a dependent, the filing threshhold for wages subject to withholding is $8,450 for 2006. The threshold for self-employment income is $400 and the threshold for unearned income is $850. If you can be claimed as a dependent, the amounts drop to $5,150, $400 & $300 respectively.
