Since when did you know that God was taking credits to everything?
Something you should know is this;
"The righteousness of the righteous man shall be credited to him but the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him." Ezekiel 18:20
The deceiver may have taught you that everything that happens is His Divine will. Definitely, it is a deception because what you see around the world such as housing developments, airplanes, large boats , amusements, recreations, parks, medicines, rocket ships, satellites, cell phones. electricity, water systems and all material blessings you have and enjoying are done by men and man's intelligence. Did not the man who invented and manufacture those things receive credit for all of it? Did you hear that God say He invented electricity or telephone? Did you hear Him take credits for those things?
Of course not and the only credit you always give Him back is the chaos, the wars, the natural disasters, your failure in your life or finding the right mate is all what we gave Him back.
Coincidence? there is no coincidence. Every success or failure you make in your life is your own making. He did not put you here on earth to move you like His pawn on a chess board. You are given Free Will to take the road to your own life's journey. You are given the Free Will to pave the way to the destiny you created for yourself. Your failure is due most likely to the wrong judgment you made on choosing the path and there is no one to blame except you. Your success is yours and to be credited to your right choice. The only thing that God could make on you is to give His blessings for all the right thing that you do. He will turn His back on you if do it in the wicked way. Is he taking any credit from what you have accomplished? All you hear are from other people's mouth are the words "Good Job!" and God may have influenced them to acknowledge your work.

The problem is, that when something good happens, people give god credit and when something bad happens, people say god could do nothing about it. Its a huge inconsistency. Either people should say that god is responsible for everything or for nothing.

As much as the Abominable Snowman and the Easter Bunny should stop taking credit. I believe in each of them the same amount.

God has set-up systems.
What happens inside those systems is to His credit only indirectly.
And yes, sometimes coincidence does happen.

I think he should take responsility for that barge that hit the railroad bridge in Georgia, kinking the tracks; and a passenger train came along and derailed and went into the river, injuring and killing innocent passengers.

It all depends on your own perspective. For me I believe in God and so I believe that He is the Maker of everything.
I believe in medicine and technology, but I believe it is something that God allows us to discover on our own. What a boring world it would be if there was nothing to discover.

God doesn't necessarily take CREDIT for things, but being as how everything that occurs can only do so through him, we give him the praise and glory for his grace, mercy, and power.
