I think you should shave your hair and get a "face" tattooed on the back of your head. It won't cost you a thing (cuz I'll pay just to see it). As for tipping your artists, I always give a tip ( "Don't go out in the rain without an umbrella" is my usual tip, but if the artist does an excellent job I tip him extra "You can mix powdered coffee creamer with water to make milk in a pinch").
I won't lie....its going to hurt.....(and your feeling are going to hurt from the laughter) but I promise you this tattoo won't make you look like a tramp.....in fact .....if we make the face scary enough you will never have to worry about having sex again......I'm all excited now and can't wait....Contact me by email when you're ready to start......

Ok well I've gotten a few. And for one, tattoos are very precious, and to a lot of people they are like scrapbooks to remind people of certain events that happened in their life. So if you're just getting one just to get one, I don't recommend that. The cost will vary depends on the size the detail and sometimes where. The hurt varies for everyone also, I have a high tolerance for pain so I cant sit through 4 hours with out moving and it not really bug me.For others it's a little different. I usually tip 20%. As for the placement. Always make sure you can hide it if you have to. whether with your hair or an item of clothing. Yes we live in 2007 but! a lot of employers still judge if they see a little ink

First, for pricing, it depends on the size and amount of color you want. If you are worried about it making you look like a tramp (or your appearance) then it doesn't sound like your style and you shouldn't get any. Get a tattoo wherever you want, the only way to TRULLY know how it feels is to do it. Good luck.

You should get a surfing panda on your chest. It will cost about $602.68 and only tip the artist a single Oreo cookie and a Bic pen.

It won't hurt at all since you can drink during and you'll only look like a tramp when you wear high heels.

That's a LOT of questions, especially for someone showing off, a little too proudly, some uninspired shoulder work in her pic and calling herself "sarcastic beeotch." I will, however answer these questions in case someone looks at your question and is actually sincere about similar questions of their own.

Where should you get it? Depends on whether you want it to be visible nearly at all times (forearm/hand/neck/face) or not (back/ankle/midriff).

What you should get? Do your research and Take Your Time, this isn't something you can simply wipe off when you change your mind (or sober-up). If you like flowers, for example, just Google images of flowers and print-out the ones you like most. Same goes for skulls, hearts, birds and anything else. Tattoo parlors always have portfolios of their artists works (photographs of the tattoos they've done) for you to examine. If you're really stuck for an idea, they will also have books and posters of classic, new school and other "stock designs" you can choose among. But if you don't have a specific tattoo in mind, or at least a general concept, you may want to wait for the compulsion to pass. And always listen to your artist's suggestions; they're professional graphic ARTISTS and they can make any good idea better...and know better than you what looks right and will stand the test of time.

How much it will cost? Depends on so many variables it's impossible to answer that question: where you live (Miami or New York will cost more than Scranton or Fargo). how complex the design ("tribal" or Kanji = cheap. A dragon holding the earth in its jaws in a field of fire in the classical Japanese style = very costly). If you're strapped for cash, it's possible to find artist interns who--under the supervision of an experienced artist--will do small, graphic pieces for free as part of their training. Check Craig's List and your local "alternative" newsweekly.

Tip? Not usually. The cost is always included in the price you're given. If, however, your appointment requires the shop to stay open late or if the artist you decide on comes in on his or her regular day off just to fit your schedule, you should offer to buy them their lunch or maybe a six pack (or two) for the shop. You can always offer something on the order of a 15-20% tip, but in my case (several experiences over many years), an outright tip has always been refused. Maybe I just look poor?

How much will it hurt? Depends on your own personal pain tolerance, the "hand" and experience of your artist and, very much, WHERE you're having the work done (forearm or shoulder = very little pain; neck or breastbone/ribs a helluva' lot more pain). In general, it feels like scratching more than like "getting a shot" and most people get used to the feeling pretty fast. Also simple, small tattoos are over quickly, usually before your skin begins to swell or become "overworked", while large pieces can take several hours (and a few visits) and will put more stress on the skin. Pay attention to basic after care to avoid any additional discomfort.

Make you look like a "tramp?" If you're worried about that, you probably shouldn't get a tat in the first place, or at the very least avoid deigns that feature a nude version of yourself and the motto "Easy Rider."

And don't let these other smart-arses scare you: some people get one freakin' tattoo by following the trendy bandwagon and decide they're too cool for "newbies." I have tattoos that are older than they are. And by definition, their lame, self-satisfied attitude is very UNcool and NO tattoo can fix that.

Good luck.

Don't get one.

When you know what you want, where you want it, and have done your research on aftercare, possible healing problems and cost (research with professional information, not random answers from strangers on the net), then you are ready to get one.
