Has anyone out there had any ghostly experiences? Do you think that these things are the result of an overactive imagination OR are u convinced that there is a supernatural presence in this world?

I want to hear your stories, genuine experiences. Does anyone out there believe in spirit guides or guardian angels? Would love to hear about any real, genuine experiences that people have had.

Many thanks.

I acutally wanted to ask this question awhile ago, but forgot!

I definatly believe in spirits. I personally have 2 stories.
When I was younger I went to an old castle in a park. It was very old and made of brick...http://www.dupontcastle.com/castles/squires.htm (there is a picture if you'd like to see)
Well I went with a boyfriend and it was late and the park was closed. There were no other cars in the parking lot and it is basically in the middle of nowhere-we were the only ones there. We started walking towards the castle and we both saw a white light. It was almost like a fog. It was moving around outside the castle-I got freaked out and didn't go any further and I made my boyfriend get back in the car. A few years later I was reading an article in the local paper that Squire's caslte is actually haunted by Mrs. Squire.

My other experince happened when I was home alone and around age 16. I was dancing around singing to a song when I felt someone was standing outside the door watching me. My bedroom door was open and I thought it was probably my mom. Well I noticed my cat's hair was standing straight up (you know how they get when they are scared) I went into the hall and nobody was there...nobody was home. This happened once more at a different house, and the cat did the same thing.

Good question here. Yes i do believe. I am a chinese and our belief in the supernatural has got pretty much to do with the Yin and the Yang.

It is believed that when a person is in low spirits - can mean that he seriously lacked sleep; or if his body's moisture level is absolutely low; or if this person doesn't eat a single garlic, ginger or onion (known as 'Yang' food), he is more likely to get contact with the spirits. It is because spirits and ghosts are total 'Yin' and that's why such people have higher chances to get in contact with them, especially during the seventh chinese calendar month, where it is believed that the gates of hell opens at that month every year for the hungry ghosts to visit the mortal world.

A physical example of contact: Body being pressed by a ghost while sleeping. The victim will feel kinda suffocated, and he won't be able to move a single bit, or even shout. Could be rectified if he concentrates hard to say prayers. This commonly occured to a number of people i know. (Creepy?)

I do personally heard from friends who claimed that they have guardian angel encounters. Often said was being gentle touched by them when alone in the house.

Do drop me an email, i'm more than glad to share more of my experiences with you in time to come, provided you don't take what the above as bullshit.

I did not experience ghosts the way they are usually represented, but I believe in spirits, definitely. Once I slept alone in a new place, dark and secluded: I was afraid and hiding under the covers, when suddenly a hand caressed my head and gently adjusted my cover. For a second I was petrified than I recognized it: it was my grandfather's hand. He passed away few years before and he loved me very much, and I relaxed, felt safe and warm, and fell asleep. There were other occasions, some pleasant, some unpleasant, when I felt physical presences that I could not describe or explain what they were, but were very real to me .
A friend of mine who is scarily psychic has children who feel things too. Her 3 year old once would not stay in a hotel room in aforeign country where they vacationed because he was seeing two soldiers in it, covered in dust and blood. He kept crying and was hiding in the bathroom. His mom found out that a couple of decades before that place was a battlefield, and many soldiers died.
Whether these are spirits, energies, or something else, on this plane or another, I don't know, but many feel them and they are certainly real to me.

definite so very plenty, I see and hear Spirits on an accepted basis and grew up with them. I bear in strategies while i became into youthful i became into unwell in mattress, and somebody who i concept became into my mom sat beside me finding after me. I even have helped a superb type of folk via passing on some small message from a departed kinfolk member, and what i admire suitable of all is while somebody is composed of me that announces they do no longer have confidence, nicely they do via the time they go. For those uncertain, or scared don't be, you will continually discover people who will arise with some excuse to describe it, or attempt and discredit you, they are basically scared, no longer of the Ghosts or Spirits, yet of the reality that as quickly because it incredibly is shown it would harm the a superb type of the Church's, and pretend religions. Love & Peace

I saw a few ghosts several times and didn't know what they were. They didn't look human they looked like a white ball of light. I prayed about it and asked God if they were from him (thought maybe an angel) then help me understand them, if not don't let me see them again. I haven't seen then now in a few years!

The ONLY spirit guide is the holy spirit. Sylvia Brown is completely wrong when she tells people they have spirit guides! The only spirits she's talking to are demons and I mean it!
There are angels about -I was awaken once by one and saved someone. He/she kept shaking my leg until I got up!

This is a true story, my Dad died three years ago and after he died at night I was really having a hard time sleeping the grief was so bad it hurt. One night I don't know why but I just had more a feeling of peace so I went to sleep and my husband swore that night he felt a presence and kept feeling he was being watched. He was laying awake and feeling more freaked out by the minute, he said all the sudden he could smell my Dads cologne. I did not know about this my husband told me later about it, he said he asked for Dad not to visit so much because it freaked him out. I did not know about this until two months later. But my Dad must have visited to help me. I still miss him, he was a really good man but now I know in my heart he is also an angel.

I believe in ghosts. I have never seen one, but I have felt one. I was very tired, so I will not be offended if people put it down to fatigue, but one night I had finished the late shift at work, driven an hour to the city and was planning to go out with my friends. When I got to the house of one of my friends, I was exhausted and needed to lie down for awhile. I normally have the spare room there to myself, but for some reason that waasn't available to me. So I lay down on her parents bed. I was at that exhaustion stage where you are too tired to sleep. It was so annoying. Then I felt hands on my back, I thought it might be my friend giving me a friendly massage. Then it got a little more than friendly, and I thought it was the guy I had a crush on at the time - after all, my friend wouldn't let anyone else in to the room while I was trying to sleep. Eventually I rolled over - there was no one there! I could see the shape of a person depresssed in the quilt - as if someone had recently been laying there, then it moved! I bolted out of the room and down to my friend to tell her what happened - she told me she'd often seen orbs at the door to that room. I will not go in there alone after dark, ever again, and run through it if I am passing through it during the day (It contains the only back door to the house). So yes, I really believe in ghosts.

They exist. I have seen more than enough to know that they definitely exist. On some occasions, with witnesses. What they are I can’t say. I don’t believe it is one’s mind playing tricks in all cases. Why would the brain suddenly show more than one person a vision. Especially if they do not believe in ghosts, and were merrily going about their business without a care in the world …when suddenly… they both see something… stare in wonder and disbelief...look at one another to confirm whether the other person is also seeing what they see... their hair stands on edge...and they run, like hell!

yes I believe in ghosts, and gaurdians etc. I saw my grandfathers ghost and we talked. I was very young. Once on the way to work in the mist I saw something from the corner of my eye that I could have sworn was a Sasquatch so I stopped to look closer into the mist and still saw a man's outline, but smaller and more "faded" I was stopped for a total of about a minute but it was just enough time for me to avoid an accident that I came upon further down the road. Had I not been stopped looking at something that really wasn't there that would have been me.
this is a story that my grandmother told me about my grandfather (the one I chatted with after he died)
He walked out the back door with his lunch bucket on his way to work at the sawmill. about 100 yds away he passed himself heading in the opposite direction wearing a bandage on his right hand. He turned back to the door and asked my grandmother if she saw that she had seen it and did not want him to work that day but he did anyway. after being at work for about an hour he lost a finger in the sawmill and came home wearing the same bandage he had seen himself wearing earlier. I have seen other ghosts and aliens as well. It is very scary and unsettling when it happens

Yes, I used to see things at my grandmothers house as a child. She said- oh its just shadows or it must be your grandpa. (they slept in separate rooms.)
UH Yeah whatever- Now all the adults talk about the hauntings. I guess it was built on an old Indian grave yard. I am glad I didn't know that then. Its been torn down for years. I always had the same reoccurring dream at her house. Come to find out it is pretty similar to one of my uncles dreams as a kid. Coincidence? I don't know.

Also I believe that angels are all around us and demons. I believe there is a whole world that we do not see.
