No. There is no Creator, so flaws in the universe would mean nothing in regards to a Creator.

Besides, who are we do decide what is a flaw and what isn't?

I think that because we are human we are limited by our perceptions. Perhaps you may find a "flaw", but because your perception is limited, the flaw could actually be part of a grand design. Take a child who is born with a deformity, to you it may appear that God messed up, but the impact that this child may have on someone Else's life could lead to amazing things. However, because you could not possibly perceive this, you could take it as a flaw, when it fact there is a good reason for it. I think that the only flaws are made when people use there free will to go against God. How can you find flaw in something that you can not possibly perceive in it's entirety

ugliness isn't a flaw, their are lots of ugly people with bad attitudes, Thats the beauty of ugliness. I can be ugly myself but it doesn't prove anything. What maybe horribly ugly to somebody can be sooooo amazingly beautiful to somebody else.

Their are no flaws. We are were we should be in the universe, so is the moon, if the moon was any closer or further away from us, either the tide would wipe out everything, or it would be stagnant and their wouldn't be any oceans it would completely dry up. The sun is were it should be. The universe is moving as fast as it should be, if that was going any faster or slower the universe would collapse. Every single detail is perfect and the way it should be.

It would be quite difficult, not knowing the ultimate purpose to which the universe is directed, to identify flaws in its ability to fulfill that end. Imagine asking an ancient Greek to locate flaws in the design of your hard drive or HTML code? He could find what looks odd to him, but he really has no idea. Maybe he is really bothered by your sans-serif font. Such is the case when people try to find "inefficiencies" in the way the world is as a means to critique its creator.

Everything God made is perfect. The sun is the perfect distance from the earth or else we would fry or freeze. All the planets stay and move in orbit just as centuries before they have never moved. And the Earth rotates on it's axis at a perfect tilt. The universe is awesome if you study about it;God did not create sin Satan did .(Genesis 3:3-4) But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” 4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. That was the first lie and Satan is still making people believe the lie,not only the people but misleading people in religion from what the Bible says.

I say mankind in general controls the universe thru a deep sublimnal in the mind so once more then one of us feel and or believe in something we can influence others in the same way!!!

So if YOU think there is a creator then only you can find his flaws sense you created him!!

so in turn you see your self as a flaw

the world was created perfect till that first guy got a bad feelin and spawned the down fall in man kind as we grew at the same time!!!

Much of science is theory. Much of fundamentalist religion is theory. There are many flaws in science. There are many, many flaws in fundamentalist theology. There are many imperfections in our universe, yet, it perfectly sustains our lives, our existence, and the world we experience around us on a daily basis. Everything is perfectly imperfect. Everything is balanced with imbalance. Order is founded on chaos, just enough to maintain itself. But, for the sake of the question I like Phoenix, Wise Guru's answer and Ray2Play's. Appropos. Men have been finding flaws for centuries. This is until they found out the "flaws" were very useful even necessary things.

Examples: body parts--tonsils, apendix, adnoids. Why certain animals have bizarre shapes or qualities--now there is a copyrighted database for industries to use those qualities for designs.

Build your Universe first and then I can make an assumption that God made something, imperfect. I think he made everything for a reason and through the nature of things it exists in a natural chaos. My theology is God is so great and perfect that he could make something where we think it is imperfect, but if it was imperfect in our sight, we can overcome it and still try to perfect ourselves in our Universe. If only we believe and trust in him, we are capable of becoming perfect in the end time of our own existence.

The universe is what it is, consequently the question about flaws makes no sense.

But, given that, what sorts of things do you consider to be a flaw in the universe?
