why is orange a fruit but blue isnt.......also why is it called a banana and not a yellow?

ok, ill try to answer these interesting dumb questions. orange is a fruit coz it is. all i know ( not tryin to sound smart ****) that orange got it named as you obviously see from its colours. anyways, about blue, we have blue berries... does that every enter your mind? :P and banana, i leave that to the apes man.
