everyone here who believes in god is gonna say yes.... but until u are actually sitting there with the gun to ur head, knowing that ur life has come to its end.... i dont believe they would actually say yes... it takes a lot of faith to believe in something to the last second, and to die because of it... faith is easy to come bye when ur asked a simple question, but i doubt its so easy when faced with a situation like ur life....

sry if this makes me sound like a jerk :)

I would hope that I would admit it. I think that too often we are in much less difficult situations and don't admit it though. Do we stand up for our values in public situations? Do I always stand up for my church? Just including this next story is hard because I know many people will ridicule it, and others will ignore it because of the person's religion.

"Each of us must courageously and firmly stand up for what we are and what we believe. When President Joseph F. Smith was a young man, he was faced with this predicament:

“One morning when he and several other missionaries were returning to Salt Lake City, a group of rough Mormon-haters rode up on horses, firing their guns and cursing.

“The leader jumped off his horse and shouted, ‘We will kill anyone who is a Mormon!’ The other missionaries had fled into the woods, but Joseph F. bravely stood his ground. The man shoved a gun in Joseph F.’s face and asked, ‘Are you a Mormon?’

“Joseph F. stood tall and said, ‘Yes siree; dyed in the wool; true blue, through and through!’

“The man was surprised at his reply. He put the gun away, shook Joseph’s hand, and said, ‘Well, you are the pleasantest man I ever met! I’m glad to see a fellow stand up for his convictions.’ He jumped back on his horse and rode off with his companions” (Friend, Aug. 1995, p. 43).

Unlike Joseph F. Smith, the danger you face is not so much physical; but rather it is the danger of being deceived and misled. This danger is, in some ways, more subtle and difficult and requires more strength and courage than facing physical danger. " James E. Faust

I wouldn't say yes because i don't believe in god, but if he would shoot me based on my "right answer".... I would just say the opposite. I don't care.

I've got one life on this earth, and I'm not going to risk getting shot in the head for answering a question. I would give whatever answer would keep me from getting shot.

christians would have to say yes to get into heaven. If a christian says no then they'd go right to hell for denying their god. According to their bible many people went to heaven simply by admitting they were followers of christ, even though they were immediately executed for it. So if any christian says "I would say no to avoid getting shot" they are not very good followers of their own faith.

Now the real question is...... What if 2 people had guns pointed at your head..... & asked if you believe in god..... One guy would shoot you if you said yes, while the other would shoot you if you say no. now that is a pickle!

I would try the best i can to persuade the probably well thinking person that god does not exist. next i answer yes to confuse him , then i take the gun break it into two pieces and run away, leaving him with the face of an exhibition. this works i did it before.

Fortunately I would be able to be honest if asked this question and say that no, I do not believe in God. Although I do have to admit that even if I did, I would probably still say that I didn't because a human being will do or say anything for survival - it is our nature.

Yes, obviosully if you strongly believe in God liek most christians your going to say yes, because your dieing with diginity and God will reward you in the end. If you love your Father (God) so much the first thing your gunna say is yes, you wouldn't even think of saying no. well I woldn't anyway

I'd say, go ahead and shoot, because I am not going to deny my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
