Everyone believes in something. My primary question is: Do you believe in God? Or is there something else in your life?

No, I don't believe in God. I know there is a God. Biblical prophecy, scientific evidence, personal experience, and the fact that I was born with that knowledge of a creator. If you don't believe in God you're in denial.

yes , i believe in god , big time , but not what people think god is . I believe that god is like air , who is present everywhere , as there can be no 100% vaccum anywhere [i studied this in chemistry] , he surrounds us and goes inside us , when we breath and when we release air during breathing , we release all our bad and become good . He basically purifies out inner soul with each breath . That is why we say 'nobody is that bad that they can't be good' , we can always change . I dont believe that god looks like humans , humans are the most imperfect creation of god , don't we all say 'nobodys perfect' and god is supposed to be perfect , how can we even dare to compare him with us . Hence, god is the highest form of love , compassion , purity and truth . I love him so much and i know he loves everyone including me .

Gave up Santa, easter bunny and sky daddies long before I even hit the 3rd grade. My parents taught me to think, and to reason, and to explore, and to question everything. And by about age 13, the entire idea of supernaturalism just was beyond the pale, and ridiculous, as is any religion based on some holy book of which there is not proof of all the things in it. As I got older, I went back and re-examined my conclusions, and became an historian.
"In every village there is the torch --- the teacher and there is the extinguisher -- the clergy."
Victor Hugo

Thank you mom and dad for not abusing my mind by telling me that fairy tales are true. I love you both for that.

My parents were torches.

I believe in Jesus, therefore I believe in God.
Your life is like the facets of a diamond.
Each facet represents a different part of you.
God starts a polishing job on you after He saves you.
So, it appears the it is a growing and changing process that takes place and will continue till the day of Jesus Christ.

Phil 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Phil 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Pay attention to the one who is doing the work.
It is not you.

How many times are people going to ask this same exact question?

The people who asked it before you were no more successful in trying to persuade the masses, so why bother? If it's the answers you seek, do an advanced Y!A Search for the phrase "do you believe in god" & you get almost 40,000 results.

Freakin lazy people can't do a simple search on their own.

Edit:
I don't believe in god, by the way. I believe in myself & i have faith in those people in my life who have proven to me that i can truth them with my faith.

I believe we will never be able to know whether or not a god exists. But if it is a yes or no question, I have to answer "no". I do not believe a god exists.

No.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
