the blower resistor pack has a built in fuse [one shot only] to protect the system. if it is blown chances are that the blower motor is pulling too much current [worn bushings or a mouse nest] and may need replacement [in high blow it should not draw more than 8-10 amps.]

discover an automated Jeep wrangler in case you may. Audi is going to be severe priced to insure. So will the jeep, however the Jeep could be much less to insure. additionally, if something is going incorrect with that Audi, this is gonna fee an arm and a leg. With that jeep you may restoration it your self. And in case you purchase a instruction manual Jeep. Have somebody instruct you, do no longer act helpless and run far flung from a motor vehicle because of the fact of a few thing like that. Plus they constantly say, in case you may notpersistent stick, then you definately can notpersistent in any respect.

Do you hear the fan running? Does it work at any speed(check them all). I would troubleshoot the fan before worrying about flapper doors in the dash(very scary). A good mechanic can figure this out in 30 minutes.

You could have a bad blower motor, blower resistor or even and bad ground that is causing this problem.
