Seeing how our emissions only went up by 17%, I think we are pretty decent. Look at countries like Canada, where their emissions went up 27%.

Is the U.S. a good role model?

You will get a lot of partisan BS here but recently:
- USA has had one of the lowest increases in emissions in the world,
- China has had the largest increase in emissions

And now the revelation: CO2 emissions have practically nothing to do with any warming trends. Imagine spitting into the ocean - even if 6 billion people do it at the same time.

Should we conserve, live in smaller houses, drive fuel efficient cars, reduce waste, clean up air and water? Absolutely!
But global warming and climate change are just scarecrows.

your having a laugh, america is the most pollouting country and always will be...no offence but your president is a ****. he didn't sign up to the kyoto agreement or whatever, i wouldnt say hes trying to cut emissions at all. the usa's co2 emissions were 5,844,042 tonnes, highest of all the countries, all of europe put together produced 3,682,755. A good role model is somewhere like....greenland.
