how long does it take to receive the hard plastic copy in the mail after you order it? i live in us the reason i asked is we have reservations at a hotel we paid for with the card we waiting on it to come in the mail we leave tomorrow and they say we have to have the card with us....

Maybe use a magic wand to get the new card as fast as you desire! The fact of the matter is, we are at the mercy of the card-issuing authority! Solution to the problem in question - consider settling your hotel bill in cash!

I just got a new credit card on the 5th and didnt receive it until the 13th. Good Luck. Maybe the hotel can just call the creditor or something.

Almost any hotel will require either a major cash deposit or an imprint of your actual credit card. If you leave tomorrow, I wouldn't assume you'll have it. It is too late to pay them to ship it overnight.

You are at the mercy of the card issuer and the US Postal Service. Even after you receive the card, you will still be at their mercy. You are now their slave.
Dump debt. Pay cash.
