Yes, I DEFINITELY believe in the manifestation of the Holy Ghost - and, Yes some do get scared when a person experiences it - I know that I use too.
As far as tongues yes - I have spoke in unknown languages to me - they were translated and I was told what language it was - Tangali - I don't even know where it comes from or who speaks/spoke it.
Healing - Yes, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 - Ovarian Cancer back in 1982 - I was Prayed over with oil - felt and 'almost' painful - no 'heat' in 'that' area of my body - went to the hospital the next morning to have a 'hys' - I was checked - WOW - NO CANCER!!!! No surgery!!!!! I STILL have NOT had any hysterectomy! I still have ALL the parts!
However, I have seen where some people get Prayed over for something and it doesn't look like anything has happened, but, maybe even up a year later - The Miracle Has Happened!
Prophecy - Yes, Prophecy has been given in my life and my husband's life and they have come true!
YES, I DO Believe in the Manifestation of the Holy Ghost and, I have seen it in my own life - It is Awsome!
Take Care and God Bless!

I do believe in what you term the "manifestation" of the Holy Spirit. But I believe that the Holy Spirit can manifest in many ways, not just falling out and speaking in tongues, and not all the "show" that people do comes from the Spirit.
A lot of Pentecostals (I can talk about them, I am one) tend to think that if you dont have a wild service and people arn't droping like flies and not quoting whole sonnets in tongues in service then something is wrong. Well, What if the Spirit decides to manifest in quietness? or in maybe a small child singing Jesus Loves Me?
Dont get me wrong, I love the raise the roof services just as much as the next, but, I also know that it can get very out of hand. I hope I havnt rambled on. Good Question!
And as for healing, YES, I have seen things that would make the hardest skeptic accept that it is real. I know the Healing power of God is Real, and it is at work today.

Concerning speaking in tongues:
In the New Testament, the only people who could speak in tongues were the Apostles and those that they granted the power to. A few things to consider here. The speaking in tongues that occured with the Apostles were different languages. Also, any time tongues (languages) were spoken, someone other than the speaker understood what was being said. The miracles was that the Apostles could speak in languages that they did not study. There was ALWAYS someone that understood them though.
1 Corinthians 13:8-13 tells us that prophesy and tongues (miraculous speaking) do not take place today.
"Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love these three; but the greatest of these is love."
All of the miracles that were performed in the New Testament were done so that the people would believe the testimony of Christ. Since we have God's Word, we no longer need miracles, signs, prophesy or tongues to teach us.

I believe all Christians will receieve the holy spirit. Yes I believe in all the gifts of the spirit, but not in the way that the charismatics teach. The speaking in tongues is not some heavenly language that nobody can understand, but it was used to preach the gospel to all the different nationalites. For the bible said tongues is for the unbeliever and not for those that believe. So its clear that it must be rational, otherwise it would bring confusion, and God is not the author of confusion. Futhermore we know that tongues must be interpreted and we know that is usually not the case.
I believe people can be healed, because God is the same yesterday today and forever. Yes I also believe that propehcy is being used today. Because the book or revelations is being understood today better than ever before.

First, many Christians believe that the Bible talks about real languages. Suddenly speaking in another language accelerated the propagation of the Gospel.
Second, if you still believe that it is an incomprehensible language from the holy spirit, know that it is a gift and that not everyone should have it. Some churches falsely believe that everyone should speak in tongues.
"Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?"

I don´t understand what the Holy Spirit exactly is. Why can one admit that one God is, at the same time, three things? If it is true, so there isn´t just one God that rules the world, but three.
Sincerely, I believe in God, but this manifestations of the Holy Spirit is hard to accept.

I believe that some people are given the gift of speaking in tongues, though it matters little that they do if no one can interpret what is said. I do not believe in snake oil preachers who claim to heal people on television.
I do believe in the prophesies. Thank you Paul, we have not always been the best of friends, but I have read what you have written.
I do believe that the Holy Spirit is a part of me.

evidence, clarity, certainty, knowledge of the Holy Spirit?
I believe. I speak three tongues. Prophesy? St. Paul defined it spiritually.

Do you think that God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit wants you to be unconscious?
What is taught by that?
Do you understand something stated in a different language?
What of God can you learn by that?
I have felt faint and God gave me strength.
God has sent me teachers and all of them have spoken to me in my native tongue!
God gave us a body and the body's ability to heal was built in by God. God gave us doctors and nurses - they help us heal in the body.
God gives us teachers of Him to heal us in spirit.
By prophesy you shall see whether they are false! This is the mark of false religion, unfulfilled prophesy. Keep notes and let them lie not about what they stated.
And you should not be afraid if you believe and trust the Most High God.
But be very afraid if you do not, you mess around with false fire as did Aaron's sons.
And their penalty was?
People get an adrenalin rush akin to the rush they get seeing a horror film or a wrestling match fight and addicted to it. Are either of these real?
Wow
