God is the antithesis of logic. God lies at the end of logic.

God operates within the rules He sets up, and only on rare occasions, like the time the sun shone for a 24 hour period, (scientifically proven) does He suspend natural law.
It's not natural for an acorn to grow into a laptop, however God gave people the intelligence to invent the laptop.
If God was logical all the time, why would He create us with a mind that would question His very existence?
The answer is because He wants us to love and believe in Him because we choose to, and not as robots without a choice.
There are even some natural explanations for the sun shining over the middle east for 24 hours. They say it could have been a polar axis shift of the earth.
So God defies "our" logic, because His intelligence is so far above our own.

Of course God can defy logic. It was not very logical for God to let his Son die for a bunch of sinners, it wasn't very logical of God to create us with free will so there would be a chance of turning away from him. He did it because he loves us even though we are sinners.

God does not follow human logic. If God wanted an acorn to grow out of this laptop I am typing on, he could. If he wanted to make a square circle, he could.n His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts.

If you can ask such a question, you probably don't want to know the truth.
No. God is NOT illogical, He doesn't lie, and He cannot sin. This does not negate the fact that He is all-powerful. It simply means He is real, and not fantasy.

Defining God as all-powerful does not mean that God should be able to break the laws of logic, i.e., create a rock so big he couldn't lift it, create a night so long he couldn't sleep through it, etc.

Taking omnipotence to that degree makes us atheists appear silly.

No, Christians don't seem to really understand logic, or they try to avoid thinking about it because if they do for long enough they will realise that they are living a lie.

God cannot lie, so your question is irrelevant. He already did what he did in Genesis and that settles it.
It's like asking "can God make a rock so big he himself cannot lift it?" not realizing that he himself IS the Rock.
God doesn't work against himself.

A circle is by definition circular.

As for god, it is nonexistent, except in the minds of church people.

22"Have[f] faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."[g]

It doesn't seem to be a problem for most Christians so I'd have to say yes.
