That is an unrealistic goal. However, the only way to loose weight is to burn more calories then you conusme. You should be eating a healthy, well balanced diet. Do not try some crazy ultra low calorie diet or your body will think you are starving and save fat instead of burning it. Instead eat a lowfat diet with a minimum of processed foods and drink water. You need to do cardiovascular exercise to get your heart rate up in order to burn the fat. You can do weights, crunches, or calisthenics to tone muscles and firm up areas but they won't look right if your muscles are covered by fat. It will be hard work and should be looked at as a lifestyle change otherwise you are destined to have the weight return. If you're doing this to wear a dress or something in 45 days, look into serious shapewear, buy a pair of spanxx and adopt a healthy lifestyle, it will be more realistic and better for your health in the long term, Good Luck.

First, be careful how much you cut your calorie intake because you can cause your body to go into starvation mode and retain fat instead of losing fat. Find a dietitian or nutritionist or even go to a Weight Watchers meeting to learn how to fuel your body.

Second, start with cardio/fat burning exercises like walking, running, biking (a treadmill or a stationary bike are good for home use) find something you enjoy and do it for at least 30 minutes everyday. Find a friend, or two or three friends, that can go with you. Support and encouragement goes along way.

Third, put in some sort of weight training 3 days a week. Don't spend all your time concentrating on your abs. the muscles will get stronger but the fat will remain. You need to work on your body as a whole. You do not have to go to the gym for this and there are a lot of videos available that can help you.

Finally, do not expect change overnight. You can do all this but be patience with yourself. The mirror and scales can be your enemy and a source of discouragement. Find a way to reward yourself for what you have done. Don't use food as your reward but something else you like such as a new book or a movie. Use something you really like and when you do good give yourself a treat. And every so often give yourself a day off. Never let yourself get too tired, too lonely or too hungry. Those are the times mistakes happen. Take care and good luck!

Not realistic and I don't know of any 'healthy' way to do it. I was able to lose about 10 lbs in a couple of weeks from stress and not eating much except for coffee, apple cider and snacks every few days. It was an unintentional 'starvation' diet. Basically, most of it was 'water weight'. Honestly, I also ended up with diarrhea for a few weeks from not eating enough which probably 'helped' me lose even more water weight. My stomach definitely shrunk and looked a little caved in but it wasn't totally 'flat' and tight since I wasn't exercising. My ribcage just stuck out more. I went from about 130 down to 121 but I don't think I could have continued losing weight that fast even if I wanted to. The rest would have had to be exercise and 'proper' diet.

It will take you longer than a month and a half to really do it if you want a flat tummy and have it stay that way. It's hard to lose weight in only one area and only certain types of exercise will help work on the stomach alone. Crunches or sit ups can really help.

Why are you all so concerned about losing weight? it's crazy all you people looking for a quick fix. there is no quick fix that works safe and effectively. If you want to lose weight you have to exercise on the regular and eat right. I know what I'm talking about. I eat three times a day with 2 snacks in between, I exercise on a regular basis. I am 24yrs old and weigh a 102 pounds and i am 5 foot. you want to lose weight and keep it off.
well follow this 1 eat healthy 3 meals a day and 1-2 snacks a day in between(veggies and fruit). 2 exercise regularly walk an hour a day, in the afternoon. go for an hour swim in the morning everyday. an do muscle toning 3-4 times a week for 45 mins each time. 3 cut back on bad foods and drinks no alchol, no caffine, no pop, no ice cream, no fast foods or takeout from restuarants. very little chips and bars. try eating only one bar and one bag of chips per week and on the days you eat these exercise for 30 mins of walking more.if you have a hard time of eating only this small amout of junk food for the week then try eating some rice krispies, jello and fat free popcorn they are all good to eat and really don't add the pounds on. frozen flavored juices are good too for those who love ice cream. 4 is the most important one of all believe it or not. keep a diary of what you eat each week. and at the beginning of this program write down how much you weigh and then do not weigh yourself for another 5 months, why you say cause there will be times when you won't lose or will gain a few pounds due to muscle(muscle weighs more than body fat)
however muscle burns faster than fat so you lose weight quicker. so to keep you from being discouraged don't weigh yourself till the time is up 5months and plus you will see the real results when you lose 20 pounds or more and the best thing is you keep it off, if you continue to follow this program. lots aluck to you . go get started

Let's do the math. A pound of fat is about 3500 calories, so 20 pounds of fat is 70,000 calories. You've got about 45 days to do the job? That comes to something like 1600 calories a day. That's probably your basal metabolic rate, so the answer is simple: Don't eat anything for the next 1-1/2 months. Of course, you'll be ruining your health if you do that, and maybe even end up in the hospital, but who cares, you'll have a flat tummy, right?

In hard reality, if you eat less than your basic metabolic rate, your body will automatically fight back and drop your metabolic rate even LOWER, even if you're exercising like a demon. Let's look at this in another way: Say you continue to eat your daily basic minimum of 1600 calories a day. How many miles you have to go to run or walk 70,000 calories off? I am guessing that for you, you burn about 140 calories a mile, so that comes to 500 miles, or at least 10 miles a day. So, get going.

Unless you want to cause yourself some kidney or liver damage, you will give yourself some more time to lose weight. This is unrealistic thinking and could be quite dangerous to your body.

Cut out soda completely, drink only water--2 liters a day (get one of those large "Smart Water" bottles to help you measure your water intake). Don't eat after 6pm. Eat several small meals a day. Snack on fruits and vegetables, no crackers/chips/bread. Take multivitamins.

Exercise regularly, but mix up the routine. Crunches are great, but also remember to walk. Walk in the morning, afternoon and evening after dinner if you can. When you feel hungry, drink water. The weight will start to fall off almost immediately, but you will have to remain consistant. Remember about plateaus; you may lose a ton of weight one week and then nothing the next--you may even gain some but don't get frustrated. Keep at it. The moment you quit, the weight will come back. After a few months, you'll learn what your body needs to maintain the weight you want.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

the best way is the sensible way. Eat right, healthy, drink lots of water. The ab lounge is a good tool to use for belly flattening. I would talk to your health care provider about this and be careful.
