Have you thought of getting some counseling & find out what's going with you & what is making you sad?
I think, this would help a lot.
The counselor would understand & try to help you.
In the mean time, exercise; take a walk, dance to music @ home, swim, get out there this will help some with your moods.

Hi Ann,
I feel this way an awful lot and I know how painful it can seem when you feel so unsupported and uncared for. For me I usually turn to the smaritans.. I am not a "phone person" so i usually text or email them, so check out their site : www.samaritans.org they are there to listen to you and help you, and when i have felt down sometimes they have always been there.
have you tried seeing your Gp about your "sadness" or depression? I know how daunting that can be.. i have been there at the age of 19.....but it may help..they can offer you medication or even just a referal to a counsellor. I used to fear all those things and believe that a counsellor could not help me.. i mean..what is someone who doesn't know me properly going to be able to tell me?? How wrong I was....it can often be because they are so far removed that they can put a different slant on things and make you feel abit better.. and it's worth a shot, especially when feeling so low and alone can be awful. A counsellor or therpist, is just there to listen, understand and offer a bit of advice..they won't judge you...so perhaps giving this a shot may help, hey?
If you do go, please understand that sometimes it takes a while to find the right counsellor but don't give up there will be one there waiting to help and just having that support can help a lot..trust me!
gives these things a chane.. also gve the people around you a go...try and seek support of them. I know its hard to feel a lone...but sometimes you have to fight for help...but i know you deserve it...i hope you get it and please feel free to email me!

Trust me, I completely understand. I get these feelings. What I do is try to find something to distract me. Sometimes I go on the computer and look at the hookers on Craig's List for laughs. Other times I write about how I feel and then rip it up or burn it. It kind of feels like cleansing. i call people I haven't talked to in a while and just talk for a while. I also call family members just to say hi. Other times I just watch a movie that I know is going to make me cry and just cry until I can't anymore.

Hike up your trousers, learn your lesson and take from the fallout whatever semblance of pride and dignity you can and move on! As I'm certain, that there must be some reason behind your depression that probably has something to do with someone else?
Like Judge Judy wrote...
Make a period. and move on from there...
You don't have to be understood sweetie... What you have to be is cunning, wise and resourceful.
It is when you attempt to be kind that you allow people to slip under your radar and infiltrate your better judgment and sensibilities...
Do yourself a favor and stop feeling sorry for yourself immediately... Even thought you are entitled... It is not a wise thing to exhibit.
It smells like blood to the dogs in society who are hungry for any weakness you have to offer them.
Cover your wound, smile and learn to fit in with them, live among them or be their food!
Your choice... hammer or nail. Hit or be hit.

you need to find someone to talk to and not isolate yourself. it doesn't have to be a therapist, maybe a pastor or someone you respect... a friend, a friend's parent... maybe a therapist wouldn't be too bad an idea too.
and i like the pet idea. my cat has been great at keeping me sane at a period of time when i was having really bad nightmares.
maybe even a goldfish, they're soothing to watch.
try to get out though, don't sit alone and dwell, even if you just go to the mall and buy a coke and watch other people. if nothing else someone is bound to amuse you. :)

Maybe you should get a pet, like a cat or dog. I know when I feel kinda of down, my cat always cheers me up.
God Bless ;)
