My piercer recommend 3 days to be safe, and you should be rinsing your mouth with a mix of half listerine and half water every couple of hours, and after every time you eat or drink anything other than water. However, I kissed like half an hour after I got mine done. They just don't want you getting someone's germs.

i think u'd injure urself or ur partner unless u were real careful, but then that would lose the whole point of kissing...when u know theres a possiblity to kiss at a certain moment remove it before time

I waited till the swelling went down. It took me like 2 weeks.
Depends how fast your toungue takes to heal. Remember you have an open wound so becareful who you kiss, very easy to get infected.

i was eating solid food the next day and kissing the same day, just remember if you do afterward wash your mouth out with mouthwash. you don't want it to get infected.
