I love Firefox since there are hundreds of add ons and skins that can be installed. There is even an add on to make a window use the Internet Explorer engine for sites that don't work in Firefox. I have the Adblock Plus extension which hides all ads. I rarely get ads and popups.

OPERA 9.1. It;s the best I have tried Mozilla Firefox 2, IE7 and Opera 9.1. There r many factors, mainly Firefox has got bugs in it and it dont offer the security which it says, even if we download some bad extension(which we maynot know it;s bad) the software gets corrupt, also we need to use flashgot if we need a consistent uninterrupted download in Firefox, Opera dont need any of these all the extensions are built in features of Opera, also the download function can use facilities like stop and resume like any download manager.
Also it has a large cache memory, the images will load in lightning speed even if u r using a slow internet connection.
And the tabbed brousing is better than Firefox, options for opening new tabs hidden or maximised and many.
U need to use it atleast a week to experience it wonder.
IE7 I dont say it;s bad, but the cost factor is high, wheras Opera is free :-)

Everyone has their own opinion. Many people swear by Firefox and it is the fastest growing browser out there. However, many websites use features that are unique to Explorer, so it always helps to have a link nearby.
Opera has it's moments as well.

Firefox is quicker and better looking that Internet Explorer 7, has tabs and is more secure.
I also use Torpark for anonymous browsing.
If you want popups, spyware and viruses stick with IE.
