The longer kittens are with mommy the better, but by 8 weeks usually, kittens can be one their own..
When kittens go to their new owner, they will attach and look to the one person ...
which ...kitten will choose to be like mommy...
Make sure you get your cat neutered so as not to have any more kittens..
Maybe tell the new owner to do the same...to the kittens ...
Good luck...!!!

Ideally, the kittens and the mother should stay together until they are 8 weeks old. Kittens need to be socialized by her and by their siblings that long. You might be able to do it sooner but it really is better for them to wait. You will get a variety of answers regarding this question. Some breeders recommend 12 weeks. I have a kitten who we adopted at 7 weeks and that seemed to be fine. I had the feeling that he was still looking for something to nurse on. The time before that we adopted kittens who were less than 5 weeks. I would not recommend that. While they all turned out okay, one of them was always really needy and he took forever to litter box train. Usually a kittens mother will teach them herself. So that time together is beneficial for many reasons.

You should really get your cat spayed. There are enough orphaned kittens out there that need homes and here you are letting your cat get knocked up and then wanting to get rid of her kittens. Be a responsible pet owner.
Also, kittens need to be 8 weeks old before you can adopt them out.

At least 8 weeks old, but 10-12 weeks is better. Kittens benefit socially and emotionally from the extra time with their mother.

At least 8 weeks. But it is better for the kittens if they have a couple extra weeks or two to learn more things. But if you can't keep them THAT long then at 8 weeks it will be okay to give them away.Just make sure they are eating solid foods(I perfer Purina Kitten Chow) and are going to a good home! :) Have fun with the new kitties!!

You have to wait till they are 8-10 weeks old. You will enjoy them and when they are eight weeks old it will be time to take mama to the vet and get her fixed. She will live a longer happier life and be much more healthier. Good Luck.
