1) There is no doubt you are a teenager even from the way you talk :D

2) Well usually all the medications (even those to get you to sleep) are given through a cannula (the plastic piece they put into your hand). So basically its gonna be only one needle.

3) To get you to sleep you only need one injection and with this you want even continue counting to ten before you fall asleep, and its small :D

4) The operation is short and it takes about 30 min

5) Yes its not pain but a strange feeling like something supposed to be there but not really.

Best wishes & good luck :D

OK... You will get one needle an IV. Because the IV contains a catheter it is pretty large. They will put the needle in the vein and then pull it out leaving in the catheter so that you can get IV fluids and all the rest of your meds. So no more shots after that. Does it hurt?? Some what but it's quick. The operation will take between an hour to an hour and a half. As far as felling no pain in your throat after the procedure.. Unless he has developed some new technique your going to feel some pain, but they will give you some really good pain meds for that and it doesn't last long. You'll be back to school and getting ready for the big 15 in a week. Good luck!

1.You will get 1 injection
2.The injection is very small and they usually put it in your hand and then when they put you to sleep it will be injected into your intravaneous bottle.
3.Operation is only about a half hour to an hour...small procedure
4.No you won't feel pain but you will feel a dryness there and know that something feels different or weird.
5.You will not suffer at all.
6.Stop worrying ...it will all be fine....thousands of people have had this surgery including me and we are all ok

They don't keep injecting you to fall asleep...they start an IV in your arm one time, and put anesthesia medication through it. You may also get "gas" that you breathe in through a mask. The surgery usually takes less than an hour, but you won't have any idea anyway because you will be asleep.
