I keep getting this call with no one on the other end, could it be a telemarketer? 416-777-9552 please help. All I can find when I do a search is that it is coming from Canada. What can I do to get rid of this other than change my number? It is driving me crazy.

I get calls like that, It is computer generated. You can, I believe do *86 or something like that-it is a call block-to block that number from calling again. If nothing else call you local phone company give them the number and ask them how to go about putting a stop to the phone calls.

My husband was laid off in December, just before Christmas. He went in to work on a Friday morning and they told him that it was his last day. No warning at all. You are so right. People fear being around us almost as much as they fear being around someone who has lost a loved one. When will people realize that this whole "economy" is just one huge, artificial, "monopoly game" created by those with wealth and power? When will the world realize that a "recession" does not really exist? People still need food, shelter, clothing, books, education, etc. Why is it better to have whole families homeless instead of having them remain in their homes? Why is OK to throw them out onto the street simply because some "bank" is not going to make a "profit"? What kind of sick world is this that allows these things to happen without an uprising? It is as simple as the fact that people need food and houses. There is NO shortage of food and houses. Why should these things be withheld from those in need simply because of the artificial contstruct called "the economy", or money? Many of you will call me insane, uneducated, or crazy. Please just look beyond the obvious "nose on your face" and try to actually "see" what truly exists in this world.

I googled it and YES it is a damn telemarketer. You havre to get on the do not call list. Here is the website telemarketers stop calling in about a month. Register your house phone and your cell phone too. https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

Welcome to the world of computer generated calls. These calls are dialed randomly and voice activated when the receiver talks. It appears you have a caller I.D. You have a choice of getting privacy manager, picking up the receiver and putting it back immediately to break the connection, or let it ring itself out.

In the UK, there are services that enable you to have your number put on certain lists that ban these kind of calls, I'd check if you have those kind of phone services in your country- I assume you're in Canada or the U.S.

save number to your phone,tittle name BAD GUY,go down to ring tone put NONE,or MUTE then find UGLY pix in phone for pix ID.now when you see UGLY pix it dont ring dont answe..It works with exwife, exhusband,boss, banker .glad I could help
