Worldwide...with organized religions, WMD's and war on a global scale. Nothing but oppression. How is this civilized?

the so called primitive cultures were nurtured in a sense by nature and produced a karmic balance.. what is called mainstream society was totally built by religion... the first and most powerful Was the Roman Catholic Empire Church... which is against nature... Now christians babble about god creating the earth and that it's order is proof of god.. the order we see on earth is called the laws of nature. yet every christian sect is looking to war against that which is natural... and orderly... so how can they( the catholics, christians and religious) proclaim that they come from god when they live to destroy the proof of what they claim proves god...

It's subjective hearsay, more like wishful projection. Things that exist in plain evidence in nature, are usually poorly understood when it's existence becomes or is prohibited from becoming commonplace within human societies. Such is the tightrope one much walk in a sectarian dominated secular constitution country like the U.S. Religious control freak agendas tend to promote false narratives like the one you quoted. It's difficult to not overstate the obvious fact that people who cling to hate-centric religious exclusionary fear memes, will always be the most stubborn and recalcitrant towards tolerance for their fellow humans or the genetically predisposed genetic trait of homosexuality.

My guess is because they've had much more time to straighten their society out and once they found a way that worked, they stuck to it. Mainstream society is new compared to those few existing 'primitive' cultures. We are like little kids fighting over toys while they are like the wise elders who don't bother with ridiculous or self destructive things anymore. They may do strange things we don't understand and some people may see that as 'savage' behavior but it's not. Too bad we seem to view them all as backwards because they aren't obsessed with iPods or other crap.

Because we generally tend to link consequences to actions more often than mainstream society does. In mine, there's the idea of "seven generations," or thinking of the consequences of a major decision seven generations in the future. That doesn't exist in mainstream culture. It's all about now for them, not past or future, but just present.

We were definitely indigenous, but hardly primitive. Direct descendents of the Mound Builders. And as for living less industrial lives, we aren't all that way. I know many techies from all Native Nations here in the Americas.

Do you mean all of the primitive cultures? I can easily find examples of a culture that encourages violence and kidnapping of rivals' women. Religion within "mainstream" or primitive society often leads to warfare and violence.

Humans are animals.

They aren't. They live less industrial lives, so in some sense they harm the environment less (sometimes they harm it greatly, however)... maybe contribute less to large-scale political conflict and fallout. But I fail to see how they are more "civilized".

This is insane. You are idealizing indigenous people. They have killed, they have raped, they have overused the land to its collapse. This is one of the most childish things I have read here. The Yanomami don't experience greed??? Get over yourself.

Civilized? Those peoples were largely swept away by God because of their heathen ways. If you want to go back to picking fleas out of your hair and succumbing to every disease that wanders by, you can be my guest.

Because they don't share the poisonous, negative values of greed, envy or atheism.
