My cat fetches. I have a little stuffed mouse with a rattle in it which I throw down my long hallway. He will fetch it, and bring it back and drop it at my feet. He will do this about 10 times, then plops down for a rest.

My cat killed a possum twice his size once. Then he dragged it into a window well. I imagine that's pretty tricky to do.

I have two cats that fetch. One started when she was about 5 months old and one did it the day I brought her home at 12 weeks. One of my cats will sit on command and all of my cats are trained to come. The older two know other command words. The baby (who is now 14 weeks old) is still learning.

My oldest cat begs. Just sometimes. When she really, REALLY wants something.

She will sit in front of you, and wait until you are paying attention to her. Then she will look towards whatever it is that she wants. If you do not give it to her right away, she will continue to silently demand that you pay attention to her, and when you do, will look at it again.

One day I told her that I wouldn't give her the treat (because she had just walked away without eating it the two previous times I had given it to her), unless she BEGGED me for it. And I just ignored her sitting there for awhile. When I glanced at her again, she very slowly raised her left paw up, until it was in the classic dog begging position. And held it there while my mouth dropped open in amazement.

This cat has never even BEEN around dogs. So how she knows what begging behaviour is like, I will never know?!

Since then she has used this same begging behaviour a few times to get what she wants when we have first refused her.

It's kind of cute actually.

I had a cat one time that would fetch. We have a very large red mackrel tabby (orange stripe) that will sit and bet for treats. My daughter is working on having him roll over now. He's pretty smart.

My cat does the same thing, she will play fetch for hours. She has pom pom balls she loves. My arm gets tired after a while, she keeps on bringing it back for me to throw. If I throw one up in the air she does flips and sometimes catches it in her mouth.

My cat also plays fetch. But only with plastic bottle caps.

My cat acts more like a puppy. She follows me absolutely everywhere, even to the bathroom, and whenever she wants to play and I am walking down the hall, she runs after me and starts biting my leg and tugging at my knee, to get my full attention.

My sister's Bengal cat turns off the light switch on command. It is a part of a game they play...sounds like a real wild, hyper cat.

My cat used to do the same thing when she was a kitten. Cats can be so funny at times.

I have a cat who will sit on command. Also if I touch my cat and say bang he will fall down.
