Most of the time when I'm in a rush in the morning I try to go for something quick and easy but most of the time I'll be eating something that is so loaded with calories that I just don't see it possible to burn off by lunch. Couldn't they take away alot of that. We try to go for the reduced fat stuff but it really isn't all that much better than the regular.

hahahahah! boy, are you naive. the messiah you are not.

food companies are in the business of... making money. they don't give a **** about nutrition, unless it helps them sell more product. if they took away a lot of the "that" [whatever you mean], it wouldn't taste as good, and they couldn't part fools like you from their money.

Food you buy, premade, ready to eat..........is made to last long on the shelf (lots of preservatives), look good (food colorings) and to be sweet enough to get your attention (sugar, sugar, sugar!). Food that is easy to grab and not full of calories for breakfast, would be toast (bread that is full of nuts, grains, instead of preservatives, etc.) with a bit of cheese melted on the top..................that's delicious...........or your choice of foods on top that you CAN/WILL eat...........natural peanut butter is one idea. If you are grabbing a drink, you can buy REAL juice, natural juice, and if it is not in single servings, you can always prepare it the night, before, by pouring it into something like a Propel bottle that has been properly cleaned. (Propel mineral water bottles have tops that close on the top, and open easily). The good foods are available................they are not as fattening as the quickie, sugared up, grab fast, junk foods. Remember, preservatives are not FOR the person buying the food. The preservatives are there to make that food last longer in stores. (How old do you WANT your food?).

try eating fruit or yogurt. both of those are good for you and quick to just grab and run out the door. people seem more geared towards taste than health so most foods that taste good are loaded with calories. you just have to decide weather you want to be healthy or eat good food. not saying that all healthy food is gross but a lot of it is.

I was wondering that last night. I was making tuna helper for dinner. They want you to put in 3 tablespoons of butter and 1.5 cups of milk. I used half of both, added some water to make up for the milk, and it tasted fine. It's excessive for no reason, like they want you to gain weight or something. I really don't know why.

thats why you are given an opportunity to choose - and do it wisely. choose something with complex carbs for breakfast like whole wheat bread sandwich with veggies and lean meat in it, some fruit or old fashioned oatmeal with egg whites or anything else you want in it.

Because people wouldn't eat it, if the food was healthier for them.
