A girl at work has recently got in touch with me via email.We never used to speak and she invited me to lunch.(she's got many other ppl she goes to lunch with!)WHY NOW?We hit off and we're in constant email contact now.
She's got my number(not txt yet though) and said she'll give me her's!I don't want to look too pushy, so I haven't asked!
I asked her out for Saturday, but she said she might have a date--but she said the bloke might change his mind!She met him over the wkn.
When I asked if she asked him out,she wrote back:
"It's the man's job to ask the girl out ;)"
1.Was this a hint for me to ask her out properly?
She said we'd go out for a drink nxt week and I asked if we can be friends-she said only if I don't expect more!
I replied saying I only wanted to be friends-what made her think I wanted more?She wrote back saying 'Nothing,just leave it...'
She now COMPLETELY IGNORES ME+EMAILS!
2.Did I do anything wrong? 3.Her ego bruised? 4.Why she ignoring me?

I really get this case.
She likes you and thought you like her too &you both were about to go on the love relationship. BUT then you told her that you never thought about that; just FRIEND that's all. Very painful for her!!! No wonder why she ignoring you!!!

it sound like u didn't like her maybe she thinks ur usin her or something? i'm not sure,
when she wrote back "nothing just leave it" it sound like she's had a really really bad history, u should keep trying ask her y maybe look her up in the phone book and ring her, meet up with her in work, MAKE HER TALK!

She liked you, wanted to be more than friends. However, you haven't done anything wrong. You were 100% up-front with her. She's embarassed that she came on to you and what she wanted (more than friends) was turned down. If you want to do anything (which probably won't do any good, because she's hell-bent on being immature about this), write her a handwritten note that basically says "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I'd like to get to know you as friends before moving on to anything else. If you're okay with us getting to know each other better, then let me know and we can hang out" and leave it on her desk, or somewhere where she'll find it. Then the ball's in her court. She can suck it up and be friends, or she can pout because you wanted to be friends instead of more. If you do that, it's up to her. Good luck!

It could be that this girl was down for you but there were something she dint know about you at the first place untill you went out for runch i suspect she saw something in you that she dint like but that is not your fault but i would sagest you ask her and tell her that your surprised with her recent behaviar i beleave that speaking your mind helps please be a man and stand this but dont west your time searching where you went wrong coz she is the only one who has the aunswer.

maybe because you read too much into things. stop hassling her and let her do some running to you. if she's interested she'll email in time. plus it will save you asking constant questions about her on here (most are the same question re-posted).
keep your cool, and if she's interested in you even as a friend she will come round eventually
