All my life I have been doing all sorts of exercise, tae kwon do, ballet, swimming, running. I have pretty much done everything. As a result, my legs, especially my calves look no longer like a woman's. OK, so don't imagine anything terrible, it's just this big muscle! I don't know what to do! In order to lose weight I have to work out and if I keep doing martial arts I'll never be able to wear a skirt again! What to do? Please help, summer's coming and I really don't want to spend it in jeans... :(

I have tried dancing by the way it's also exercising the legs so I don't think it'll help.... Ugh...

Lots of girls want legs like yours i'm sure.. i have really toned legs because i do swimming 5-6 days a week, i jog for 1 hr every 2 days, i used to jump Rope when i was younger and i do loads of other things.. by doing this i also have a really toned stomach but i eat healthily too so i look womanly so i can wear anything and the guys like it! So hunnie show off them legs and the boys will be lining up staring at you whereever you go.. also DONT! spend summer in jeans hunnie when you've got lovely legs to show off and i bet you'll look amazing in a bikini

Actually loosing weight will not improve your looks. You have good lean muscle tissue in your legs. Some guys may find it a turn on at least I do especially with a tan. You may pick up some buff guys who do the same activities as you do. Healthy muscle tissue is nothing to be ashamed of, the important thing is your exercising maintain a good healthy body.Here in the U.S have an epidemic of obese people, basically we are killing ourselves off by over eating and indulging. Remember good muscle tissue also contains weight and the brain carry's 84% fat. I don't think you want to loose there. Be happy you have worked out and are physically fit. There is somebody for all walks of life regardless of how you look. The tan always attracts guys anyhow, you would be surprised. Look into my source you may want to get his book and learn more! Not a plug but a serious suggestion dieting the wrong way and stopping your exercising regiment could be very unhealthy for you. For example woman under go gastric surgery to loose weight but after they loose weight if they don't exercise the skin hangs like a human Sharpe

Try doing exercises on a mat and focus only on waist, butt and thighs, not on calves. Or try pilates, this kind of sports is an easy thing to do and doesn't make the body muscular. It will only make it slim and toned. Very feminine exercise.

Walking is the best form of exercise. If you use gym and weights you will develop some muscles around your legs and arms but they are not fat.

try swimming for cardio and yoga then go for the rowing machine and elliptical instead of exercise which involves your lower body more like jogging for example, muscle needs so much exercise to maintain it as well as protein esp for us women.

show off your toned legs!!!
i have allways had toned and muscular legs and i wear short skirts and i love it and men love it even more.
