What is the dumbest thing you have heard about Mexican immigrants on Y.A.?

Im not generalizing, this question is specific to Mexican immigrants.

1. They all live in run down homes with roaches and old food.
2. They live 35 to a one bedroom.
3. They play Mexican music at all hours of the night.
4. They can't speak English.
5. They all put stickers on their cars and carpet on the dash.
6. They all carry around an American flag upside down.
7. They all have horrible food smells wafting from their homes when they cook.
8. They eat dog.
9. All Mexican men leer at American women.
10. AND FINALLY the best one ever THEY don't move their cart when they are in the grocery store and you are trying to get by.

YES I have heard ALL of these on Y/A!

That they aren't doing jobs Americans wouldn't do. There are 11 million illegal aliens in this country, most of them working. Where are the 11 million unemployed citizens whose jobs allegedly went to illegal aliens? That just doesn't make sense.

That this country is "full". In the west, you can travel hundreds of miles through lush forests without ever seeing any sign of man. And it would still be that way if everybody in the world came to America because most people would choose to live in cities, where the opportunities are, because people make jobs for other people.

That immigration laws are just about immigrants' rights. They are also a violation of the private property rights of citizens who want to invite immigrants to live and work on their own property & are told "no" by a bunch of anti-immigrant communists who don't believe in private property.

That we've always had immigration laws. The first immigration law was in 1882 (over 100 years after Independence) when the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed.

That illegal aliens come here to go on welfare. They are not eligible for welfare.

The dumbest thinhg would be that Mexican Immigrants are the same thing as Illegal Immigrants.. the two are not interchangeable accpeting one does not mean you accept the other and being against one does not mean being against the other.

The dumbest thing I have read on this forum about Mexican immigrants is that "the USA land belongs to Mexico (Mexicans) ......" (the person posting the question said that "aztecs" are native to Illinois) - it's not true..
There are a lot of other dumb things posted here, and a lot of the other people answered those already, like:
"Mexicans work harder than everyone else", "just come here to do jobs no American will do", "Mexican illegal aliens are not criminals", etc..... none of which are true.

Here is what I have said lots of times. Only white Americans get pissed off about illegals. I am very glad this is happening to white Americans. The dumbest thing ever was that my old account was canceled because of a remark about illegal immigration, especially considering some of the other repeat offenders I've seen. I don't even know why I came back. Nothing has changed, it's the same old arguments over the same old tired issues. How pathetic is it that I can't find something better to do than patronize Y!A?
