No. You broke up with him for a reason. If you get back with him he will think everything is alright. Things might get better int he beginning but after a while he will get back into his trend and do whatever it was that caused you to break up with him in the first place. breaking your heart once again.

How long have you been together and how long have you been apart? I am going through the same thing, two days ago my girlfriend said she needs her space and moved into her aunts house and I am in the apartment alone, and were together for five years. She said she loved and cared for me but not in that way anymore, more like a family member. She wanted some time to be free and have fun to explore the world. I dont want to lose her and am on the verge of it, I dont want to smother her, just want to give her flowers, but am afraid of smothering her. End result, give him another chance, if he is still available. Best of luck.

Ivory I can only tell you that you have to follow what your heart wants, if you both care for each other by all means do it and work out the problem that you have, who knows it could work out, but if he is not interested in getting back find someone that you deserve to be with. and be happy. good luck.

Before you 'do anything', sit down and write up a pro's and con's list about the relationship, and the guy.
Making up a list of qualities of the man you could be happy with, and comparing him to it may help too.
Then make your decision.

There must have been something significant for you to break it off. You must decide if that action is forgivable and you both can move on. In addition you must decide if he will repeat that action. Take clues from his response to your pain.
