Absolutely. There are no pretenses with cats, all you have to do to be loved is treat them decently and feed them. People, well... always some kind of pretending going on no matter what the relationship, people care about the stupidist things like whether you fart or how much money you have or what kind of car you drive. A cat doesn't care if you don't want to talk about something, and people get mad and think you're hiding something from them.

I agree. My 3-legged tabby cat is my best buddy most of the time. She loves me just the way I am, imperfections and all. I couldn't ask for a more loyal, faithful, loving friend in anyone.

LOL!!! I can totally relate with you, but i don't take refuge in cats. I don't have a cat. But I wish I had one, or a dog perhaps, when people around me gets very irritating.

I totally agree, people can be mean and very irritating. As soon as you go home, your cat says meowwwwww (hello in our language) and dances on the rug!!! Would a human give you this much warmth on coming home? I doubt it very much. You continue loving your cat, their our little babies.xxx

Yes, I agree - it's humans who create the world's problems; the world couldn't be worse if it was ruled by cats. Cats already rule we humans, so ruling the whole world is the logical next step.

Ghandi said "A Nation is Known by the way it treats its animals."
If more people were kinder to animals, they would start being kinder to one another.
Ever notice how friendly it usually is in the Vet's office? We're surrounded by kits and pooches and we just HAVE to talk about them to each other while we are waiting for the vet!
In fact alot of the world's geniuses had a VERY special place for animals in their hearts and their speech.

I don't know your cat but I am going to adopt it and l think of it lovingly, because I feel the same way as you about people.

Yup. I deal with people daily... yelling, screaming, being generally rude and mean. I much prefer hanging out with my cats.

Abosutely. My cats and dogs give their love unconditionally. They are always there if you are down in the dumps and they help me relax.
