You can use another brand memory stick . Remember that Sony uses a memory stick format not a card. SanDisk make a stick that can be used with a Sony.

I actually have a Cybershot W55 and it will take any reminiscence stick professional or reminiscence stick professional DUO card. I dont understand what your previous digital camera took, yet maximum Sony Cybershots take the pro or professional DUO. in the experience that your previous one is professional or professional DUO then it is going to artwork. If it isn't the comparable, then danger is it wont artwork.
