I feel like doing something drastic that she would never expect and either one of two things will happen, either it will take us down the path of life together or not. Ladies, I would really like your opinion on this. I feel like going to her and asking her hand in marriage. I know that we have problems, but what couple doesn't. She said lets be more spontanious, right, you cant get more spontanious than marriage. I just feel that if I wait to long, I will never know.

If she wants time apart, I don't think it would be a great idea to ask her to marry you. Give her the time she needs and if it was meant to be, you'll get back together and then you can ask her for her hand. If you don't get back together, I'm sorry, but it just wasn't meant to be. Marriage will not solve your problems, it will just make it worse.

No. No no no no absolutely NOT.

The reason why the divorce rate is so high, is because people think marriage solves problems, it just creates new ones.

It might seem romantic, but if the relationship isnt doing well when you get engaged, what do you think the marriage is going to be like?!

You want to be spontanious, that isnt the way. Take her someplace romantic at the drop of a hat, to the first place you had a date. Buy her flowers for no reason! Clean the house/apartment, and make her dinner.

I wish there were ages in these posts because it's hard to suggest something when no age is posted.

If this girl wants to take time apart from you, it is obvious she is looking for a way out of this relationship.

Marriage is a very big step in life and it does not make a relationship that has problems already any better.

Poor guy. To me, you have a 'waanhop'-syndrome (waanhop means 'despair'). Now that you see you are losing her, you do anything to get her back to you. It's normal. Out of despair of losing we do believe we love the other person. But deep down we know that only the future can tell. And we can not hear it. So, let her take her time and maybe she will come back because she found out that she loves you.
To ask her in marriage now would be in the wrong moment, for the wrong reasons.

Here is a better question, Why have you asked this same question 5 different times? You really sound obsessed with this girl. Stop stalking her. Maybe thats why she wants time apart.
