Hold on a minute........Everyone knows the Phrase " Not enough room to swing a cat" It comes from this technique of resuscitating a cat...there is no joke, it sounds harsher than it is. I'm just wondering if anyone has had to use it.....Ask a Vet......but don't start bad mouthing me.

First of all I'm not even sure I know what you're trying to ask.
I assume that tekniek means technique?
Second of all why do people who have nothing better to do think it's oh so funny to post "questions" thinking they'll get a reaction out of people who truly care about the health and well being of cats?
Perhaps if you had a job, or something else constructive to do with your time you wouldn't be wasting ours!

I am willing to adopt all your cats and pets and find them good homes with people who have read up on how to keep these animals before they even get one. Buy a book, it will tell you to NEVER hold an animal by it's tail, let alone swinging it around, as it could cause breakage of the vertabrea, subluxations and paralysis. You can be fined and thrown in jail (yes you can) for treating an animal in such a way. In some states it's a felony. I'm sure you woudn't want someone to do that to you if you were an animal with a tail. OUCH!

Why are you asking such a question like this. Everyone knows it is very cruel to do that to a animal even a dog. so why ask a quwstion like that. I never heard a vet say that you can bring the cat back to life by doing this, you will only harm the cat more or even end up killing it by swing it by its tail.
please don't take my answer as being rude I am only thinking of the animals and what ideas people will get from reading your question. (swinging a cat around by its tail)

No-not that -BUT this sounds gross now but at the time I just reacted!! My daughter had a cat she loved -it fell over one day, she called the vet I started CPR-little breaths -Then push chest lightly with thumbs(because they are so little). I did this all the way to the Vets. The cat was still warm-they said I did a wonderful job but that something was probably wrong with the cats heart since it wasn't that old--(no autopsy)

dont start bad mouthing you?? what do you want us to do.. sit here and let you talk about abusing animals.. and not give you **** about it.. i think you need to grow up, get a life , a job and learn how to spell.... (mind you theres a few people on here that should learn how to spell..) i think that you are an immature idiot who should never have the right to own any animal.. no matter what it is.. they say that most serial killers started off abusing animals.. are you the next Jeffery Dahmer... i hope not... so grow up and dont ask such dumb questions... i d like to know who your vet is so i can give HIM a piece of my mind for telling you such BS......

Are you ignorant or what?.....Be nice to your cat(s) Unless somebody is mistreating or endangering these cats you know, there should be no reason for such a question. How often do you need to revive said cat(s)? Somebody ought to send the SPCA to your place pronto!

id say you wrote that for sensation. swinging by the tail would damage the tail. resuscitation? that doesn't involve the lungs nor heart, only thing it would be good for is torture.
