I don't know about you but I for one did not evolve from some one celled creature from the sea.

No ideological program, whatever the illusions of its supporters, and whatever their means of promoting and packaging their untruths, can survive for ever. Precisely because man is God’s creature, made for nobility of being and action, he must and will seek truth, albeit temporarily deviated.
All the information revealed by modern biology shows that the origin of life, especially the molecular structure of living creatures, cannot be explained by coincidence in any way. The transcendent consciousness ruling over the whole universe is the ultimate evidence of God’s existence. As a matter of fact, some eminent names in microbiology have come to the point where they cannot defend evolution any longer. Instead, another theory has begun to get a long overdue hearing among these scientists: the theory of conscious design. The scientists defending it remark that it is very evident that life has been created by a conscious designer.

I don't believe people evolve..but all you have to do is look at how much the earth is changing and know that God may have created evolution as a way for things to adapt to changing climates and disasters.

Evolution is a fact and does not require belief. The *theory* of evolution is the best fit for the available facts and observations and I can't see anything else fitting so well, so I think the theory of evolution is true as well. I do not *believe* in the theory of evolution, since belief implies ignoring the few things that cannot yet be explained.
Note that I am making distinctions between 'evolution' as an observable fact and the 'theory of evolution' as a tapestry of hypotheses and facts about evolution which is not yet and may never be complete.

No.
I do not have to believe in a fact. Evolution is, of course, an irrefutable fact.
Childish beliefs like creationism however, require belief. Since they have neither facts, nor evidence to back them up. Kind of like the belief in god actually...
Oh and to ???
the so-called "intelligent design theory" is neither intelligent, nor is it a theory. The only people who say that it is, are ignorant morons with NO clue as to what science really is. It's mythology, nothing more.

the 'evolution' that i see is that each species evolves but remains the same species... people are still people, even tho our sizes are different now than they were 300 years ago... and the changes in our hearts and renewing of the mind that happens when we accept Jesus is a whole new twist on evolving into the people God wants us to be!

To believe in evolution is to say God didn't create this world. I believe in creation. Though in school you are not taught that way. God created the Heavens and Earth. it's creation. not evolution.

Why should I believe what was conjured by someone else? If it were to be the fact or the truth, then, how long does it take to evolve to something else cos I can't understand why man has refused to evolve into something else in the last 500 years at least.

I don't believe in it, I know it's true. Adam's R: If you have a sister and you fight alot does that mean you aren't really siblings? And lots of people who believe in evolution believe in it because they have learned stuff about it that supports it. NOT becuase they parrot te things that others have told them.

In truth, it is the only thing the secular world, and science, has any way of saying how we are here, without admitting that God is truly there. There are too many holes in it, and no "missing links" have bee found to support it. Have you heard of the increasingly popular "intelligent creation theory"? I used to 'believe' in Evolution, but it is just a theory, not fact. When I became a Christian, I saw this, and I do not agree with the way it is taught in schools, how they present it as fact. Man is not perfect, nor does he know all the answers! I believe now in the Biblical account of creation. That all the wondrous variety on Earth (and 5 different kingdoms of it indeed) came from just a few cells in sludge, is not believable. The fact that God could make us is, however He did it, if you accept that God is all-powerful.
Hope this helps!
