I have a right to know where my money is going but he blows me off . I have never received a paystub and I think I am being cheated money. At the end of the year I receive a W2 but I will never know if it is correct. Please help me - who can I notify to resolve this?

This is not strictly a tax question. Your best bet is to contact your state's Department of Labor (or similar) and find out what your employer is supposed to do.

My bet is that he is supposed to be furnishing you with a statement that shows gross pay, taxes deducted (itemized so that you know how much federal, state and FICA was taken) and any other deductions that you have authorized.

Your employer is required by law (in the US) to give you a pay stub with each payroll, detailing the deductions. I guess I would ask the question of whether your w-2 matched what you were paid, and the deductions you had taken out. I don't know what numbers you put on your W-4, but you either make a lot of money, or you're boss is not doing his payroll correctly if you are only getting 50% of your gross. I make 100k/yr, and my taxes and deductions are only about 30% of my gross.

You know, you can keep a journal of the hours you worked, and then compare that to the amount you were paid. You can then add that up at the end of the year and see if it matches your W-2.

If you want to complain, contact your state depertment of labor, or the Federal Dept of Labor.

He's stealing from you. You are entitled to see what is being deducted from your paychecks. Call the IRS, and your state department of labor, and tell them what he's doing - they should be very interested.
