Swim and take regular long walks. Also try carrying your self-assembly flatpacks back home on foot. Me - I did this with a 17.5kg bookcase the other day, twice- but then I'm mad, as anyone here will tell you.... Swim in an ocean infested with sharks if swimming baths bore you. If one devours you, it has nothing to do with me, and it was nice knowing you-farewell!!

Take up a martial art. Make sure you use a decent organisation though (too many scammers out their)
Keep fit and turn yourself into a lethal weapon at the same time - Loads of fun, nothing like getting punched in the head to burn off some calories

MBT trainers are easy, taking up sailing or horseriding. Golf is surprisingly good even though I hated it for years and swore I would never do it. Snowboarding is fun and so is cycling if done with a club. Scuba diving gets you really fit too and its excellent with a great social life atached to it.

I put on a" ripping "dvd and get on my glider. Its just like skiing . It is a piece of gym equipment , but it is low impact on the joints. I actually hate exercising, but i just concentrate on the film and in no time i've done a work out. Hope this helps.

Walking and lifting weights is a good thing for me daily.
I can't jog very well because of my blood-thinners and asthma. But it doesn't mean I can't TRY. :0)
