I like a girl that is not all mouth and about herself all the time. I like a shy girl next door type. one that you could get into conversation for hours.
With the loud girls they tend to piss me off. A shy girl is more likley to be sweet. Wit is important to me but i dont like a girl that is so shy that she cant think of anything to say in a conversation or let some guy take advantage of her (like tellin her where were gona go tonight etc) The girl has to have some say.
Girls with attitude are normally the players

i like shy and quiet girls because they are the ones who usually go unnoticed to most guys. they don't need attention from random guys to be happy. also with shy girls you don't really know what you're going to get, so it's like a little surprise. could be good or bad surprise. wit is always a plus. loud girls who talk alot can be very annoying. some girls just ramble on about crap i dont care about, that's a big turn-off.

I'm somewhere in the middle - I like girls who have something to say and can get a point over, but keep quiet when they have nothing interesting to say.
Unfortunately shy and quiet can come over as 'can't be bothered'.

I imagine it being very difficult to have a conversation with a shy and quiet person. You can't tell what someone is truly like if they are so shy all the time.

Shy and quite is good, unless she is shy and quiet when its just me and her alone.
Out spoken with a lot of attitude is good, unless it never stops and EVERY conversation turns into a battle.
All things in moderation, extremes are never a good thing.

We like shy girls just as much as not shy girls, but heres the thing. We notice the not shy girls easier. Don't worry if you are shy, you will still be noticed by someone :D

It all depends.
Some girls are shy because deep-down, they're axe-murderers. I don't like those kinds of girls. But, if I were an axe-murderer, maybe I would. ;-)
Seriously, there's no one answer for this. Different guys like different things. Some guys like shy girls, others don't.
The key is to be yourself. Try not to be so shy that people can't get to know you.
