Well, if you've done research you probably have a good grasp on what is going to go on.

If you have specific questions or concerns, I would post those since no one here can read minds to know what you do and do not know. But good luck

P.S. Best advice I have; go to the best artist you can find. Don't price shop! And do your best to stay calm and relax, it hurts less if you can take your mind off of it so bring a friend or a book or something.

Only 17? You might need a parent to accompany you to the parlor, since you are still a minor under the laws of most states. Think long and hard about what you want to get, because it will be with you for the rest of your life! I am 30, and I think about what tattoos I wanted when I was 17, or even ones I wanted last year, and I'm glad I didn't get them. How about a cute piercing? If you don't like it, it is removable. JMOH. Good luck!

well... l had a tattoo when l was 16 and now l am searching for ways and money to erase it from my skin! If you wanna do it anyway then choose something that is neutral to you, something you are not crazy about, cause it will take you longer to get bored of it ;o) also, do it somewhere that it can easily be hidden!

So many people have tattoos now that it isn't even interesting anymore!
Now a days it is different NOT to have a tattoo.
Think about it for awhile before you do it.
