to RevR:
Donating to Charity, which I think counts as a contribution (although a minor one) compared to Jesus': let man wallow in his pitiful state policy.

I'm not blaming God, in fact I'm an Atheist. I'm just being uber sarcastic by turning the "Goddidit/Thank you Jesus" policy of rejecting one's own responsibility over his or her life and world and simply accepting the world as it is.
Frankly, I'm still 14 and can only do minor charity on a local scale, but I'm willing to pitch in to make the world a better place when I'm a legal adult lol.

As an American, I like to ask one question, Why is it everytime another county hits hard times, The world calls on the USA, why not call on another country, as we give money & food, Don't you know that somewhere between 10 & 20% goes to those begging Preachers, This is known fact, because I have studied on it. Why not let the preacher go hungry & feed the Childrens, & also When the USA is hit with a disaster, Not one country wants to help the USA, If any nation does, it is a very small amount, we too have our weather problems here, We have Tornadoes, with winds up to 300 miles per Hour & Hurricanes that can have sustained wind up to 150 miles per hour, Where is the help we also need, Yes we have floods, Ice in the Tropics, Lost of land by landslide, Lost of Cattle, & animals, Freezing weather where it should be 75 degrees.

Unfortunately for those who are addicted to their pathos, everybody in the whole world has choices. You can pray for help or you can remain embroiled in local politics. Pray for those who are hungry. It really does make a difference. Sometimes the problem is that people are too stressed to get the food down even if it's there. Or they use the food to buy other things, like the favour of the local icon, instead of eating it. The local icon probably doesn't want that kind of responsibility. It might be a passive-aggressive gesture. If people treat their food as a moralising point, all that needs to happen is that they say Grace first and eat their food without any guilt trips.

Your oozing the sarcasm today. Well if you read the Bible and I'm sure you have. But interpret it to your advantage. God does not interfere anymore. And most starving happens when a government fails to do its duty's.Most bad stuff happening in today's society is man made. And God will not clean up our messes. But if it makes you feel better to blame him, go for it.

It's just because they're not praying in the right way. Or that god has his own reasons for starving millions of people to death (after all, he works in mysterious ways).

There are things we can do alone. Do your part and God will do the rest.
May God bless you.
