Please be specific. Like what materials are ideal. Do I need fur coats? And boots? You see, I'm used to wearing tank tops and flipflops. That's all I have in my closet

The weather in Ipswich is not usually too extreme, but you will find the most indispensable item is an umbrella! :)
The south-eastern counties of England have a fairly mild climate but it's very changeable, so it's best to wear layers. In springtime especially it can be very warm and sunny in the morning then chilly and rainy in the afternoon so you need to change layers very often!
In the winter it can get cold and snow occasionally but usually the most you will need is a warm (and waterproof!) coat. During the summer you will still need a light jacket for the evenings as even in Jul/August sometimes the late evenings get quite cool....
Basics for all year around would be the usual jeans, trousers, sweaters/jumpers etc....then t-shirts, layered cardigans....a summer jacket, a waterproof jacket, and a warmer winter coat. Footwear, again make sure you bring waterproof boots or trainers/sneakers....
Enjoy your stay! :)
