Endometriosis is a possibility as some have pointed out. But maybe more simpler thing is if your guy is... well well endowed then he may be hitting your cervix. This would be even more pronounced if he can last a long time and intercourse goes for a long period. Just like some guys are longer or shorter women are also longer or shorter in the vagina. Get a mismatch and the cervix will take a beating. This bruises in this area and of course if you're then followed by your periord. It can be quite painful. My first girlfriend had this issue and the doctor only suggested different positions.
As for STDs that seems highly unlikely sense I can't think of any that cause pain during your period as a symptom. Some may cause itching or burning but not the pain you're describing. Interestingly enough dangerous STDs like AIDS and hepatitis only transfer through sex... as they attack a person.. the sexual organs are left alone the powers only uses them as a way to transport itself.
Going to a gynecologist and is highly recommended. They would probably do a Pap smear to look for HPV which can cause problems with the cervix. They might also want to do an ultrasound looking for endometriosis.
Another possibility if you have just been sexually active recently and when on birth control pills. Birth control pills can cause a lot of cramping. You may want to have your doctor look at the dosage or maybe trying different ones
Amy H - looks like an Eskimo... I'm Eskimo men share an her wise with other men (true fact). Amy I think you have your Biblical facts messed up. God punished women (Eve) and made them has pain forever during childbirth. He didn't punish them for having sex as a matter of fact he added a little spice in there so women could say "Oh, God".....

If they're *really* painful, then you might think about seeing your doctor, and letting her prescribe you some mild muscle relaxers to take when it gets bad.
As far as sex affecting your cramps, yes. It's commonly known that sexual activity, especially right before a period, can cause muscle cramps to be more vicious. Not really sure why, but basic logic would suggest that it's due to your muscles being tensed and contracted during sex... that adds to the muscle contractions that cause menstrual cramps.
Pop some anti-inflammatory pills (Advil, Midol, etc), use a heating pad when necessary, and try avoiding sex in the couple of days before your period will start up.
Oh, I'll link a source with good advice also.

It could be 100001 different things. Everyone on here has a possible opinion on what it could be. BUT i would suggest you goto the doctor, and tell him what you have told us. They can examine you, and test you to make sure there is nothing wrong.
After all its your own well being, that you need to take responsibility for, sex feels good and in my opinion you are not doing anything wrong by having sex. If you enjoy it then its all the more reason to get looked at.
It could be something, or it could be nothing, ask your health care professional they have that title for a reason.

If this is a serious question, you need to get some self respect and dump him. Why on earth would you want to be married to a guy who wants you to have sex with his best friend? He obviously doesn't love you and just sees you as a piece of a**!

How many people on here do you think are doctors? The easiest and most obvious solution to this is just simply stop having sex and see if the cramps stop.

You may have endometriosis, go and see your doctor because painful cramping is a sign of that, either way it's not good so you need to get checked out.

Endometriosis is very common in young women. It is very painful, but the gynecologist can do a simple surgery to relieve the pain. Talk to your doctor.

Side note:
Amy H's cultural and religious background may be totally different from yours, and you're definately not doing something wrong by having sex with your boyfriend.
